Chapter Three
1996 Prayers (Part 2)

My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, who answers my prayers and gives me victory, Here I am, Lord! Fill me up! I need You when I feel powerless and controlled by others. I feel like a nobody. I have things I want to do and things to express; my own thoughts, opinions and preferences. Let what I think and believe come out. Other people’s plans seem to take precedence over my plans. I feel like I am a hostage to other people's behaviors, decisions, and opinions. This is a terrible bondage. I feel chained and shackled under some kind of power other than You. Lord Jesus, You are the One who helps me. I need You. You are the One who heals any wound that has been caused by sin. Thank You for the fact that I can call upon You for Your powerful assurance, when tragedy, fear, and even death happen in the tolls of my life, and that You get me through it all. You are the One who solves all of my problems. Thank You for empowering me with Your knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to handle all things Your way for Your honor and glory. When my heart is hurting, when people are abusive, and when people are trying to convince me to do what they want me to do, You are the One who gives me the insight, strength, and courage to see Your will and say, “No.” You are the One who reminds me that You have promised to surround me with Your love, compassion, peace, and safety. My Heavenly Father, You are the One who reminds me that fear and faith cannot coexist and helps me to focus on You. You are the One who helps me to remember that fear and worry will melt away as I grow in faith and hope in You. You are the One who helps me remember that my faith and Christ-like character will grow in times of hardship, suffering, and testing. You are the One who helps me to remember and believe that You will take care of me in all situations, that You have all power, all strength, and all answers. You are the One who helps me to see Your power at work and reminds me that I will experience real spiritual growth when I trust in You to get me through every trial and testing. Today, on Your delightful path, the tree branches are swaying in Your wind. The bright light of Your sun rays shine upon me and keep me warm. I hear Your birds singing all together again. I believe they’re saying, “Our precious God, thank You for making us.” Your beautiful path ahead of me is lined with Your happiness, kindness, compassion, love, and freedom. You awaken every step I take to live for You and Your glory with compassion in Your will. I thank You and I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. Amen. Your servant forever, Carol.

My Declaration:
Lord Jesus Christ, my all-sufficient God of gods who is my ultimate champion, You are the One who has conquered for me completely. You are the One who fills me up at Your gas station with Your divine energy. You are my radiant God. You are my King over all the earth. You are my compassionate and gracious God. You are the One who has healed me completely in my whole body, soul, and spirit. You open up the doors of Your charity and generosity and invite me into Your presence of peace. You have made me a new and beautiful creation in You! I receive Your peace and rest in the midst of every situation because You are with me. I’m honored and grateful to utter my dependency upon You because You are my faithful God! You are the One who empowers me to be a living testimony and light, for Your honor and glory, to those who are suffering in the world. You have stored up Your goodness and grace for me and have lavished it over my life.
Jesus Christ God Almighty, You are the One who has allowed Your glory to shine in me and through me to all others. You are the One who empowers me to keep my eyes upon You and Your abounding love and faithfulness. You abundantly pour out and display Your grace, mercy and favor upon me. You are my greatest, sweetest, and highest King of salvation! You are the One who has given me amazing physical, mental, and spiritual abilities. You are the One who gives me mental power and divine revitalization. You are the One who has granted me free admission into Heaven. You are the One who empowers me to respond to every aspect of life with Your humility and faith. In You, I live a life of victory and triumph! You are the One who empowers me to focus on Your guidance and direction, that I would overcome every situation and continue to grow spiritually mature in You. My God and Lord, I trust in You! I lay down in Your peace and sleep because I am safe in You (Psalm 4:8)! My precious Jesus, You are the One who empowers me to place my dependency upon You and, as I do so, Your incredible freedom and peace rest in my heart! I thank You and I pray in Your faithful and majestic name of freedom, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, whose message of salvation is simple, You are the One who helps me to make sense of my life. You are the One who helps me to understand what exists in my life; what is real and what is of You. You are the One who helps me bring all of my failures to You. You are the One who helps me to ask You for help in controlling my emotional temperament. When I am nervous and uptight, You are the One who reminds me that it could be because of too much sugar, coffee, or just poor nutrition in general. You are the One who helps me to understand why and helps me to calm down. You are the One who helps me to see clearly and helps me to realize what I need to straighten my life out for You. You are the One who helps give me goals and a new way to go. You are the One who helps me to be absent from all addiction. You are aware of all of my needs and You do care that I hurt. Thank You for empowering me with Your knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and the fruit of Your Spirit, for Your honor and glory, to patiently bear and conquer all trials and afflictions that You allow me to go through. You are the One who reminds me that I am never alone and that You are with me at all times.
You are the One who empowers me to be patient and wait for You to work in my life. Nothing escapes Your awareness. You are personally involved in my life and You understand my feelings. You are the One who empowers me to learn and trust You in every detail of my life. When the problems of life are pressing hard against me—temptation, worry, and fear—You are the One who empowers me with the solution You have for me. You are the One who reminds me that fear and thoughts of doubt can be paralyzing; You empower me to function, to trust You, and to move forward when I can only focus on one situation over and over. You are the One who reminds me that fear and doubt are not of You because they keep me stagnant. You are the One who reminds me that, as I trust in You, You are the answer. You are the One who reminds me that You will meet every need I have in Your perfect timing. My precious Lord, thank You for taking the burdens of the broken pieces of my life, my shattered dreams, and my misguided desires the moment I turn to You and ask You for help, and for reshaping them into a part of Your great and wondrous work in my life for Your honor and glory. As You shape me, I become a testimony to others of Your love. Today, on the path of Your colorful nature, You give me beautiful poetry and Your rich Psalms. I skip and sing along with You as I claim my place in Your wonderful Kingdom. Your path streams with Your love, compassion, peace, and inspirations, which guide me toward Your will. We walk close together. It’s a beautiful trail with flowers, greenery, and beautiful people. There are also lost people along the way. We stop and talk with them. My great and kind Lord who gives me many of Your blessings along the way, I love You so much and I embrace You through the beauty of Your creation. You are my precious Lord of great promises for me. I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ! So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Declaration:
Jesus Christ my steady, courageous, concerned, and caring Lord, You are my peaceful, high-minded, and benevolent Creator who puts Your courage, clarity, understanding, and confidence in me because I put my faith and hope in You and because I believe that You are faithful to help. You are my gracious Teacher. You are my exceedingly strong and bracing Agent and Assistant. You are my perfect Guide. You are my well-pleasing and amazing King. You are my great and tremendous wonder of wonders. You empower me to rest in the salvation that You have given me, to take up my cross and to imitate Your Heavenly patterns. You empower me to always be thankful, because I know and believe that I have You living inside me. You empower me to remain faithful to You, that I would receive a crown of life in eternity. You empower me to bring forth every soul that You ask me to unto salvation in You, for Your honor and glory. You empower me to behave joyfully and delightfully to everyone I encounter. My precious God Almighty, it's such an honor and privilege to walk with You and in Your will. You are the One who reveals Your will to me, every day, through Your love. You are my wonderful God who hears my prayers. You are the One who gives me the power and wisdom to accomplish every responsibility You give me. You are the One who works through all my circumstances, that my life would glorify You at all times. Thank You for giving me Your solutions through Your eyes of faith. You are the One who has empowered me to be victorious by clinging to the wings of Your love and faith! You are the One who gives me every desire of my heart when it lines up with Your will. You are the One who provides for me completely, as I trust and rest in You. You are the One who teaches me and empowers me to come to You, every day, for Your provision. Your strength is sufficient and Your love for me is eternal. You are the One who empowers me to face Your reality, knowing that You have every solution for every circumstance. You are the One who empowers me with Your abundant knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. I thank You and I pray in Your miraculous name of awesome wonders, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I trust You and praise You with all my heart, You're the One who puts me on solid ground. Why does resentment build in my life? Why do I feel I have the dirty end of the deal? Why do I feel like a victim, powerless, and in a vicious cycle? Why am I allowing myself to be a part of this kind of treatment; letting others control me? Lord, break this habit lightly. You are the One who holds me and blends Your ways into my life. Smooth my heart. Give me simple steps I can take. You are the One who helps me to turn Your way. You are the One who helps me to embrace Your love, grace, mercy, and understanding in my life. Thank You for helping me, for Your honor and glory, when I am in denial and I tell myself that my problems are not problems, to acknowledge that this is my initial line of defense to protect myself from the reality of tragedy and hurts. You are the One who reminds me that these are blocks I put up to protect myself. I don’t even let You in, sometimes. You are the One who reminds me that this prolonged period of denial is not healthy for me and that it just makes things worse. You are the One who reminds me that I only find temporary relief when I try to distance myself from my problems. You are the One who reminds me that when I stand in denial, it prevents me from dealing with the problem and it can be very painful because it’s an unnecessary weight that I’m carrying. You are the One who reminds me that this leads to more confusion or blaming others. You are the One who helps me to remember that You are aware of my situation. You know exactly what I’m facing and how I will react if confronted. You are the One who helps me to act godly. You are the One who reminds me, that when I blame others I put the problem on them, I am not accepting that I need to solve the problem and I’m not bringing it to You. You are the One who reminds me that You are the One who has all the answers! You are the One who reminds me that when I blame others, it becomes their fault and this is not reality. Yes, people have hurt me in the past, but You have empowered me to turn the past over to You and get healing for today. You are the One who empowers me to accept responsibility for my life and my problems—even ones that others have put on me. I am an adult now—a born-again believer—and You are the only One who releases me from my past chains of hurt. You are the One who helps me to remember that the only way to handle trials, tribulations, and pains is to truthfully give them to You and let You handle them. This does not mean that I have to disclose all my hurts to everyone, just You, God. Today, on Your path of opportunity and wisdom, a new day has come—it is here. The sun is out and the day has begun. I say, “What do You have for me today?” I see a cherry tree. Yum! Delicious cherries; I stop and eat some. My darling puppy is walking with us today on Your green grass. I getting ready to water all the beautiful flowers You have given me. I’m going to pick some and give You a beautiful bouquet and put it in the house You have given me. I see some of Your squirrels now and they’re chasing each other up a tree. They’re so fun to watch. As I continue through the day, I ask that You bring souls to me and help me to be friendly to them and bring them to salvation in You. Thank You for allowing me to enjoy this day for Your honor and glory. My precious Lord, when I picture the beauty of Your day, I am reminded of how much I love You—You are so special to me. In Your name I pray, Jesus Christ! So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

The landscape has many beautiful flowers and trees, and green grass. You tell me that You put them there to move me forward. They show and teach me of You more and more. They show me how to receive strength from You to believe and trust in You as I travel on this journey towards Heaven. You are the One whose face shines upon me and You are gracious to me. You lift up Your countenance upon me and give me Your peace (Numbers 6:24-26). I thank You and I pray in Your strong and gracious name of love, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

“Revive me according to Your loving-kindness, so that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.” (Psalm 119:88, NKJV)

My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, my faith in You has healed me, You are the One who helps me to do better in life and to stand up for what You want me to stand up for. Change my poor habits to good and healthy habits. Lord Jesus Christ, You are the One who breaks my destructive patterns, traits, and thoughts and replaces them with Your positive, powerful, and living Word of truth. You are the One who helps me find practical, beneficial, and lasting exercises that change my social behavior, language, and communication for the better for Your honor and glory. You are the One who helps me to change any conflicts and any natural patterns of how I was raised. You are the One who helps me to change the way I think and my wrong desires. These are all patterns of the sinful nature. They are learned behaviors that I have observed, interacted with, and witnessed among my parents and other family members. You are the One who empowers me to rely on You to pull me through to Your road of life and to Your way of thinking. You are the One who helps me to be for You all the way and You remind me that You are not the Author of fear. You are the One who helps me to trust You instead of worrying. You are the One who reminds me that You will get me through my daily fears and personal concerns. You are the One who speaks to my heart and says, “When you’re sick, talk to Me. When you’re hurt, talk to Me. When you feel like complaining, talk to Me. When you feel out of control, talk to Me.”
You are the One who helps me to carefully and purposefully listen to You when I read Your powerful and living Word of truth or hear it preached. I choose and it is my will to, with Your help, act righteously and peacefully and to pray without ceasing, in Your Spirit, as I go about my daily schedule (1 Thessalonians 5:17). You are the One who helps me to resist outside clutter and the enemy’s strategy to try and get in my mind and occupy my concerns and keep me from relying on You, Christ. You are the One who reminds me that it’s important to set my priority scale to be held against the light of Your truth. You are the One who reminds me that all things are for Your sake and that Your abundant grace, through the thanksgiving of many, contributes greatly to Your glory (2 Corinthians 9:8). Today, as I walk along Your personal path of many gifts, I see people. We pass by each other and see each other. Sometimes we say, “God bless You. Have a good day.” My heart fills with Your joy because I love blessing people and giving them the simple kindness of a, “Hello.” As we walk in Your garden, which You have nourished, we reach out to people with Your tender love—it’s the greatest thing to give to others. You tell me to tell them, “If you listen to God and ask Him into Your heart, His precious Heaven awaits you.” My devoted Lord, I appreciate You, I love You, and I pray in Your precious name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

Have courage because I am with you.” You are my everlasting love and grace! You are the One who empowers and encourages me to be sensitive to the leading of Your Holy Spirit and to earnestly and simply commit all of me to You. Lord, You are the One who has much more in store for me for Your honor and glory. You have new levels for me to go to in my life for Your honor and glory. My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I throw myself before You, You are the One who lets me see my inherited and destructive behaviors clearly. You are the One who lets me see the reality here. You are the One who helps me to break these habits. You are the One who helps me to decide where I am spiritually and to grow more mature in You. You are the One who brings me into a deeper and better stage of spiritual development. You are the One who helps me to learn to be Christ-centered for You and Your honor and glory. Thank You for taking away every problem, desire for alcohol, prescription drug addiction, thought and feeling of jealousy, fear, negative attitudes, and grief, and every disease into Your hands to get rid of and replace with Your goodness for Your honor and glory. You are the One who lets me see who is working in my life. You are the One who casts down the enemy and his demons that are out to destroy and kill me. I feel like the enemy and his demons are putting a hindrance on Your power, and that they are around me. Don't let them get to me. Jesus Christ, You are the One who puts Your shield around me to protect me from them. You open my eyes to their ways, and You help me to rebuke and defeat them with Your powerful and living Word of truth! You are the One who helps me to recognize where they are working in my life. You are the One who instructs me with Your truth, that I would win against them. You are the One who leads me to the way out of their reach and brings me closer to You! You are the One who reminds me that they are the evil sources of self-pity and You help me to remember that negative thoughts and feelings can come from self-pity. Lord Jesus, You are the One who reminds me that I lose great power when I look down on myself in self-pity, or blame others. You are the One who helps me to evaluate my life against what I’m hearing—what is truly of You and what is of the enemy. You are the One who reminds me that, since the beginning of the world, no one has heard nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, oh God, beside You, what You have prepared for me who waits on You (Isaiah 64:4). Today, on Your pleasing path filled with seeds of kindness, You are by my side. You are my warm and faithful Friend who walks and talks with me in all my waking hours—and even sometimes in dreams. You cheer me forward and advise me. You are my friend who is my power of love and compassion. You are my Advisor. You are my strength and peace. Our friendship is a special kind of godly experience. We are the same. We are both spirit. We are knitted and sealed together by Your Holy Spirit. I feel safe and secure as I trust in our relationship. You say, “Hi, friend. I am opening a door to new ideas for You. I am opening the door to new and exciting experiences.” My precious Lord, in our friendship, as You speak to me, Your Words are so meaningful. You are my wise and loving friend who is always with me in every situation. When I call upon You, You are my Helper. I love and thank You for being my perfect, loving, and understanding friend forever. I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Prayer:
Dear Jesus Christ, my God who speaks to me and whose angels are around me,You are the One who teaches me how to resist the enemy and his demons. You are the One who keeps me safe from his evil. You are the One who makes him leave me alone. Lord Jesus, You are the One who helps me to submit myself completely to You and You are the One who gives me the will and desire to do so. You are the One who reminds me that particular behaviors such as addictions, jealousy, anger, unforgiveness, and bitterness can be passed on from past generations to me. Thank You for empowering me to see and understand these problems from past generations, and for helping me to change them and put them out of my life and into Your hands for Your honor and glory. My Lord Jesus Christ, You are the One who puts a stop to where evil spirits are working on me. You are the One who reminds me that the enemy cannot live inside of me because You live inside of me; he can only tempt me to stray away from You and nothing more. You are the One who reminds me that You have given me dominion over him! Thank You for empowering me as I learn about, walk in, and live in Your ways to let go of the old man, old ways, and old desires and place them in Your hands to be held captive because I have given those burdens to You for Your honor and glory. You are the One who reminds me that You have promised to take all of my burdens away and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. You are the One who reminds me that You have the almighty power over all things and over every principality. You are the One who puts Your blood over me, puts Your hedge of protection of Your angels around me, and won't let the enemy and his demons in my life anymore! You are the One who stands before them and commands them to leave me. You tell them, “No! You can't touch her! She's my child!” Lord, You are the One who gives me the strength to go on. You are the One who won't let anyone or anything defeat me or take me away from You or Your powerful and living Word of truth! You are the One who reminds me that You have given me Your courage and compassion to flow through me to others and myself in all of our difficult situations. Thank You for empowering me in the hard times to be aware of false teachers, to have discernment, and to be strong in You for Your honor and glory. You are the One who reminds me that, in You, I can be strong and very courageous (Joshua 1:7). Lord Jesus, You are the One who reminds me that You are near those who are brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). It’s early morning today on Your terrific and grand path. Thank You for the restful sleep You gave me last night. Thank You for the morning light and for the sun, which shines so bright. I hear the birds outside my window singing Your kind and loving song—how beautiful the sound is. I am having the great, nutritious breakfast that You have given me. Thank You, Jesus—it’s so fresh and good. As we continue along Your joyous and firm journey of many stepping stones toward Your glory, guide me and show where You want me to go and what You want me to do. I will remember all of Your powerful and living Words of truth to pass on and I will remember Your salvation plan for everyone You bring to me. I will open my mouth to deliver Your sweetest salvation plan to lost souls. My springtime Lord, I love You and I pray in Your mighty name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I kneel and bow down to pray to You, You are the One who sets me free from any evil power that is upon me or that has been passed down to me. You are the One who helps me to remember that all things are under Your control. You are the One who reminds me that You have helped me in the past and that You will continue to do so, in every circumstance. You are the One who reminds me that Your Holy Spirit will comfort me and guide me through my entire life as a believer in You. Jesus Christ, thank You for empowering me to not let my heart be troubled, to believe in God, and to believe in You for Your honor and glory (John 14:1). You are the One who empowers me to remember that I have not received the spirit of bondage to fear again, but that I have received the spirit of adoption, whereby I cry, Abba, Father (Romans 8:15). My God, You are the One who reminds me that Your Holy Spirit itself bears witness with my spirit that I am Your child (Romans 8:16)! Today, on Your content path of intimacy, we walk and talk and You give me a touch of Your kindness and joy to share with others. You give me a belly full of laughter, as I see the funny things You put before me. I pass the people You put before me and I boldly and confidently tell them that You are the center of my being and that my whole life is in Your hands. You are the truth in my life. How delightful it is being with You. We laugh and we breathe in Your pure air together. What a wonderful and joyful life I have walking with You and Your precious love. We see a stream and we cross it together. I put my feet in the water, “OoooOoo…it’s so cold.” The water calms me down and gives me energy to move forward in You and in Your joy. My flower of love who holds me so tightly, I thank You, I love You, and I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Prayer:
My precious Lord Jesus Christ, in whom I delight, You know my heart. I don't know what is planned for me. Therefore, I ask that You would show me and help me to do just what You want me to do. It seems that there are times when I can't control myself -- when my human ways and attitudes are strong. You are the One who helps me to see the right way and You deliver me, Lord. You are the One who takes away whatever lies dormant in my life that is not of You! You are the One who helps me to stop living in a destructive manner. You are the One who helps me to understand what is happening and to understand the source of any force behind my troubles, problems, and actions. You are the One who helps me find all of Your solutions for my life crisis. You are the One who heals me, Lord, from all bondage. You are the One who shows me where I am vulnerable and You help me to have the strength to do Your will and to do what is right. My God, You are the One who helps me to remember that You want me to know You more intimately and that You want me to conform to what I have learned about You. You are the One who reminds me that Your perfect standards will continue to shape me into Your likeness. You are the One who helps me to communicate with You and listen for and hear Your soft voice. You are the One who helps me to share Your precious truth with others. You are the One who helps me to remember that sin and self-centeredness will hinder my communication with You. Thank You for empowering me with Your complete strength and understanding to defeat any force or problem that comes my way for Your honor and glory. You are the One who reminds me that You have made me strong and confident against the enemy by coming to live inside of me. You are the One who shows me and helps me to remember why You allow me to experience difficulties, heartaches, and hard times. You are the One who reminds me that You turn them all into ultimate blessings, as I let You. You are the One who reminds me that, through Your tools of understanding, You have empowered me to be free from the negative clutches of sinful habits. Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing Your mind to me through Your son Jesus Christ; “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16, KJV). Lord, it’s early morning again as we walk along Your smooth and harmonious path. We’re walking together and talking on our morning walk. You’re explaining to me how important it is for me to reach out to the lost souls with Your compassion and love. Most of them are walking in their pain and they have blinders on their eyes. You’re telling me that You always want me to be kind and understanding toward them and to, especially, let Your love flow through me to them. As we walk, I’m remembering what You have said. Now, I see a robin in the tree. Her breast is red and her wings are blue-brown. She’s singing Your sweet song of love, “Tweetie twee tweet.” Her babies are poking their heads up, as they wait for breakfast. Thank You, Jesus, for eyes to see and ears to hear Your great creation. Thank You for a heart to love lost souls. You are the God of my salvation. I pray in Your mighty name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Declaration:
My diligent, spiritual, and enlightening Lord Jesus, whom I love so very much, You are the One who empowers me to live an obedient life toward Your will. You are the One who empowers me to be Your earnest servant. You are the One who gives me a clear understanding of Your truths. You are the One who gives me a strong faith to trust in and obey You. You are the One who gives me the power to put on the Your full armor every day; Your helmet of salvation to protect my mind, Your breastplate of righteousness to protect my heart, Your belt of truth to keep me stable and decent, Your shield of faith to block the enemy's fiery darts, the sword of Your Spirit—Your powerful and living Word of truth—to give me victory, and Your shoes of peace to lead me in Your clarity, comfort, and understanding everywhere I go. You are the One who has taught me that prayer is the best way to get Your attention; through prayer, I have my special time with You. You are the One who has made me completely victorious because Your Holy Spirit abides in me forever and ever! You give me Your complete strength and understanding to defeat any force that comes my way. You have made me strong and confident against the enemy by coming to live inside of me. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, for being my powerful faith! Your help is always with me because You are always near. This is my story: I believe in, trust in, and love You! You are my loyal, trustworthy, everlasting, and certain Almighty God! You are my true and surefire wisdom and, because of You, I always know exactly what to do in every situation. You are the blessing of my life. You hear me and You are my help and answer. I thank You and I pray in Your complete and enduring name of victory, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

My Prayer:
My Lord Jesus Christ, in whom I receive fresh hope and joy, Show me where I am gullible and whatever is not of You that is in my life. Show me Your light and Your way. You are the One who helps me to discern what is right and gives me Your proper knowledge. You are the One who helps me, Lord. You are the One who gives me patience and understanding in every area of my life. You are the One who helps me to do what is right and to stay away from what is wrong. You are the One who helps me to stop being a victim of other people's expectations. You are the One who helps me to stop allowing evil in my life. You are the One who gives me patience throughout the experience of my brokenness. You know it all, Lord; where I came from and how I got to where I am. Thank You for accepting me unconditionally. You are the One who reminds me that You know all of my needs. I believe that You know the end of my brokenness and that I will receive Your blessings and freedom. I know that my brokenness will stop when I yield to Your Spirit and that You will never allow brokenness to crush me. I know that the amount of pain I experience depends on what is being broken—whether it’s jealousy, pride, greed, lustful thoughts or actions, or addiction—and how long it’s been a part of my life. My own sins bring me to brokenness when I walk away from Jesus and into selfish feelings. I know that the consequences of these sins may seem heavy at times, but You have promised to sweep every one of them away when I give them to You. I have learned that my weakness turns into Your strength, hope, and honor as I trust You, Jesus, to change my life. You are the One who says to me, “My grace is sufficient for you: for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I’m happy to boast in my infirmities, that Your power, Jesus Christ, would rest upon me (2 Corinthians 12:9). Lord, I’m on Your lighted and inspiring path. Your love and peace are like pure water, clear and sparkling with Your powerful and living Word of truth. We’re holding hands as we dance on the path with joy. Another soul came to You today. My heart beats with joy and thanksgiving toward You. You have such compassion for all lost souls. You want everyone to come to You and accept You as their personal Lord and Savior; You want all people to come into Your perfect kingdom of glory. I love You, I thank You for Your long-suffering love, and I pray in Your beautiful name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen!
Your child forever, Carol.

My Declaration:
My pure, majestic, and steadfast Lord Jesus, who is my King of all power and my God above all gods, You are the One who knows everything about me and supplies for me generously and plentifully; You are my great Provider. You are the One who desires and loves to communicate with me in secret. You are the One whose communication is the most important to me. You are the One I can contact directly and absolutely for free! You are the One who loves to spend sweet time with me. You are the One who chose me. You are the One who believes in me and You are for me! You are the One who knows all things, can do all things, and You are faithful to give me Your abundant knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Thank You for giving me creative, skillful, and clever intelligence. At the cross, You died for me and for all else who choose to believe in Your resurrection. Thank You for helping me to influence others positively in Your perfect will. You are so good, faithful, and kind to me. You are my rock-solid and persistent faith! As I write my letters to You, You speak to me and overwhelm my heart with Your goodness, love, and compassion; You and I come together in Your true and honest understanding. Your wisdom is eternal and everlasting. You are my God of grace and favor. Lord Jesus, it's You and I walking hand-in-hand, and what a wonderful walk it is. What You have done for me You will surely do for others, and I give You my highest praise and honor! Hallelujah to You, my Lord of lords, my King of kings, and my precious Prince of Peace! You are the One who gives me the privilege to know You and to be known by You. You are the One who empowers me to make the commitment to obey You in all situations and to be faithful to that commitment. You are the One in whom I have freedom. You are the One who empowers me to consistently decide to do Your will. You are the One who prepares Your future for me and reminds me that I can only have the present; all I truly have, I have this moment to live out Your will for Your honor and glory. I thank You and I pray in Your splendid and joyous name of greatness, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, who blesses me when I pray in Your name, You are so great and so wonderful! You are everything! Lord Jesus, You are the One who helps me to discern and separate the enemy and all evil from my whole life; body, soul, and spirit. I belong to You, my Lord Jesus Christ. You are the One who helps me to stop letting evil use me or control me. Give me Your godly discernment, knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. You are the One who helps me to understand and reject wrong thinking. You are the One who reminds me that other spirits can live in my mind if I don’t let Your Holy Spirit live in my spirit. You are the One who reminds me that I grieve Your Holy Spirit when I allow those other spirits to live in my mind. You are the One who reminds me that repeated sin can create double-mindedness, which makes a person unstable in all his ways (James 1:8). You are the One who reminds me that double-mindedness is when a person thinks one way and acts another. You are the One who reminds that I must choose between holy and carnal living. You are the One who reminds me that, whether it’s a joke a person laughs at or even a television show she chooses to watch, she can send mixed messages as a testimony to friends and family members if she is double-minded. You are the One who reminds me that repeated sin can cause a person to waver. You are the One who reminds me that if people waver long enough, they can become reprobate in their thinking. You are the One who reminds me that reprobate means that a person has sinned against You to the point that she can hardly distinguish between right and wrong because her mind is so cluttered with sin. You are the One who reminds me that repeated sin can cause a person’s heart to become hardened. You are the One who reminds me that this is living in repeated disobedience. After a while, a person’s heart can begin to take on a definite shape in the old ways—no longer soft and submissive toward Your ways. You are the One who reminds me that a hardened heart shows an ever-diminishing interest in spiritual matters. You are the One who reminds me that repeated sin can create a fleshly mind consumed with “me.” You are the One who reminds me that a fleshly mind describes someone whose thinking centers around what will please, satisfy, and bring pleasure to herself. You are the One who reminds me that a fleshly mind can also be the source of a controlling addiction. You are the One who empowers me to be conformed to the ways of Heaven by the renewing of my mind, that I may prove what is Your good, acceptable, and perfect will (Romans 12:2). I pray in Your precious name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Declaration:
Lord Jesus, my Restorer, my Conqueror, and my everlasting Spirit of truth, You are the One who has full possession of my heart. You are the One who empowers me to do Your will for Your honor and glory. You are the One who supplies bountifully for me day after day. It's just so overwhelming when I think of how much You love me and I love it. It even takes my breath away. You are the One who empowers me to reflect who You are to others. You are my perfect God. Jesus Christ God Almighty, You have taught me and empowered me to be noble, charitable, and benevolent; You have taught me and empowered me to live a life of service to You and others. You are the One who empowers me to freely and lovingly share what You have freely and lovingly shared with me. You have taught me that, “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field,” (Matthew 13:44). You have also taught me that “the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it,” (Matthew 13:45, 46). You are the One who has touched my heart and given me Your highly valued, treasured, and prized promise of eternal life. You are my dazzling diamond sparkling in the dirt; I look down and spot Your beauty, and I pick You up and take You with me. You are of the highest value to me! You are my grand, beautiful, and shining Sun who warms me. Your riches for me are the absolute greatest! Jesus Christ God Almighty, You empower me to put my faith in You and, through faith, unique spiritual moments arise in my soul and spirit. You have given me Your gracious forgiveness, because of Your blood, and it is one of the greatest treasures I have ever received from You. You are the One who gives me the joyful remembrance of when You opened the door to Your eternal Kingdom, when You invited me in, and when I chose to walk through it. What a pleasure, honor, and privilege, Lord Jesus Christ, it is to share Your esteemed and cherished gift with others; You have totally awakened my heart and You empower me to share Your admirable and rich treasure with everyone You place upon my path. You are my awesome and gracious God and I thank You for the everlasting salvation that You have given me; thank You for the everlasting salvation that You freely offer all people to receive in You. Hallelujah to You, my precious Lord Jesus! You are the Savior of the world! I thank You and I pray in Your charitable, friendly, and eternal name of liberation, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

My Prayer:
My dear and loving Lord Jesus Christ, who draws me near, You are the One who helps me to stop lifting my body, soul, and spirit to vanity and deceitfulness. I want to receive Your blessing. I want a pure heart and clean hands in my life. Lord, You are the One who stops the enemy and his evil that comes against me. You are the One who speaks to him and says, “She’s My child, not yours!” I love You, Lord, and I want Your righteousness and molding in my life. You are the One who helps me to rebuke and push the enemy out with Your strong and almighty Words and power. You are the One who helps me to rebuke him and tell him, “No more!” You are the One who empowers me to not be selfish. You are the One who reminds me that You are priceless, honorable, and worthy. You are the One who reminds me that there is no one like You and that You created me from the dust of Your earth. You are greater than any diamond deposit or anything ever discovered and You are above anything that ever existed! You are the One who reminds me that I must renew my mind daily and continuously give You my old ways and old habits to let Your Holy Spirit live in me and through me. You are the One who reminds me that repeated sin can create a defiled mind polluted with impure thoughts. You are the One who reminds me that exposure and openness to false teachings can cause a person’s mind to become defiled. You are the One who reminds me that repeated sin can create a hostile mind. A person with a hostile mind, at first, may simply not want You to be a part of his life. Eventually, however, he may become angry and embittered toward the You and want absolutely nothing to do with You. You are the One who reminds me that repeated sin can create a futile mind that is just empty. A person with a futile mind lacks direction and everything seems useless to him. You are the One who reminds me that repeated sin can create a darkened mind, which is the enemy’s objective. You are the One who reminds me that darkness of mind cannot coexist with clear thinking because Your Word says that You are light and that there is no darkness in You (1 John 1:5)! You are the One who reminds me that a darkened mind simply doesn’t fit who I am as Your child. I belong to You, my dear Lord Almighty, and I pray in Your precious name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

Early in the morning, as soon as I open my eyes, I yield my life to You and invite You to guide me through the day. You are the One who empowers me to set my thinking in the right direction by the remembrance of Your holy Scriptures. You are the One who protects me with Your mighty armor. You are the One who reminds me to put on Your helmet of salvation, because it guards my thinking. You are the One who reminds me to strap on Your breastplate of righteousness to protect my emotions (Ephesians 6:13-17). You are the One who empowers me to have a clear mind and to focus on and dwell in positivity. You are the One who empowers me to operate effectively in the privilege and responsibility of making godly choices that honor and glorify You.

“I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.” (Psalm 22:22, KJV)

My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, who smiles upon me, All glory to You, my God! This battle in my life is Yours. You are all the power I need; You are enough to win this battle in my life. My dear Jesus, I know You will take care of anything that tries to influence me out of Your will. You are the One who helps me to make the decision to stand firm and to know that You’ll stop my bad thoughts and change them to good ones. You are the One who helps me to stop them before I choose a bad, impatient response. You are the One who empowers me close the doors to all of the enemy's tricks and his evil doings. You are the One who empowers me and strengthens me, Lord Jesus, and gives me all the strength I need against any evil or ungodly thought. You are the One who helps me to focus my vision on You. You are the One who helps me hear Your voice saying, “No, My child. That is the wrong way.” You said You would always be by my side and I believe in Your promise. You are the One who takes away my complaints, grievances, and every one of the enemy’s strongholds. When difficult troubles abound, when sorrow clouds my eyes, and when I cannot see Your goodness, You are the One who helps me to remember that You are right there in my situation with me. You are the One who reminds me that spiritual blindness places me in a position of direct attack from my adversary—the enemy. You are the One who reminds me that the enemy is only here to discourage me and rob me of my joy and peace. You are the One who helps me to remember that discouragement is one his highest goals. My Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, You are the One who helps me to instantly take my discouragement and everything and anything else that is bothering me to You in prayer. You are the One who reminds me that if I let these feelings linger in my mind, I am giving the enemy more control. You are the One who empowers me with Your promise to help me when I go through the school of suffering and difficult seasons. You are the One who reminds me that You will even help me to call out to You for help. You are the One who helps me focus on You when I'm in so much pain. You are the One who reminds me that You are the One who mends my broken heart. I pray to You, in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

You are the One who puts Your hedge of protection around me and keeps me safe from the grips of evil. You are the One who reminds me that intimacy with You comes from my thanksgiving and, through thanksgiving, I am reassured that You have the best plan for me. You are the One who helps me to remember to cling to You and praise You when I’m feeling empty and consumed with grief and even in the times of unspeakable hardship. You are the One who reminds me that my darkest moments become my times of greatest growth as I trust and believe in You. You are the One who reminds me that I came into the world with nothing and that I will leave with nothing; You are my God who gives and takes away and I bless Your holy name (Job 1:21)! You are the One who helps me to be strong in Your will and to bring Your love and understanding to others. You are the One who helps me to change my way of thinking to Your way, because I know that as I think in my heart, so am I (Proverbs 23:7). You are the One who empowers me to meditate upon Your Word when the enemy and his demons come against me. You are the One who empowers me to recognize and say, “No,” to all their power and negative spirits. You are the One who reminds me that Your power is even greater! You are the One who helps me to see them in my life and deliver me, Lord. Lord Jesus, thank You for untangling my tangled life, for breaking all addictions and bad habits, and for unhooking all burdens for Your honor and glory. You are the One who reminds me that You loved me even when I was a sinner (Romans 5:8). You are the One who helps me to remember that my belief system is what governs my lifestyle and choices. You are the One who reminds me that my belief system is the foundation from which I form my opinions and make decisions. You are the One who reminds me that it’s absolutely essential to know what I believe and why. You are the One who reminds me that I may have inherited lessons, habits, cultures, heritages, and convictions from my parents that I’ve absorbed into my life without investigating. You are the One who reminds me that my belief system is like a mental guard through which all outside information must pass. If my mental guard has been built on the old man and old ways, then that’s the way I’ll live. When it’s built on the foundation of Your truth—the Bible—then I can detect false doctrines and philosophies. You are the One who empowers me to be grounded in my faith in You, that I would detect false doctrines that have just enough truth to sound good but are not of You. You are the One who reminds me that I need to know Your true convictions, that I would present them to unbelievers. Holy Spirit of Truth, You are the One who brings the lost to Christ. You are the One who empowers me to be Your vessel and to use my whole body, soul, spirit, intelligence, talents, and abilities to bring unbelievers to You. You are the One who reminds me that You truly are God, that You are honest and trustworthy, and that You have promised many good things to Your servant (2 Samuel 7:28). I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

I know that I can't do anything without Your help and I keep making mistakes. I need You, Lord. It is so restful when I lay in Your great, loving arms. Bless me, Lord. You are the One who empowers me to nestle close to You like a little child and You give me the ability to trust in You when I am weak. You are the One who makes me strong. Although You do not always choose to do so, it is completely within Your power to give me anything I ask for. You are the One who reminds me that sometimes You say, “No, My child. I can see the negative consequences of your wrong decisions.” You are the One who gives me anything I ask for, if You recognize that it is good for me and that it is in Your perfect will, wisdom, and love. You are the One who empowers me to ask, that it would be given to me; if I seek I will find; if I knock the door will be opened for me (Matthew 7:7). Today, as we walk along Your memorable path, I’m in the beautiful and blessed house You have given me with the sun shining through the big window. I’m going through a box of photos that my kind mother gave me. I see many wonderful memories in all those photos. We have a great and large family. The oldest sister of eleven became a Christian at thirteen and she was the first Christian in our family. You used her to bring at least 200 of 350 to You—that’s four generations. My mother always came to the hospital when I had a child and she was always there when any of us were sick. Thank You for her, Lord; we had many good times together. When I was little, she would rock me to sleep. Thank You for my sister, who has stayed dedicated to You for all these years—she’s eighty-four now. What a blessed Father You are to have brought most of my family to You through her. I love You, I thank You, and I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Prayer:
My God, Jesus Christ, who knows my name, You are the One who empowers me to talk to You about my anger and only vent it to You. You are the One who teaches me to be wise and to be slow to get angry. You are the One who empowers me to understand why this person is doing what he is doing. You are the One who takes Your mighty hands and pulls me out of this severe anger. You are the One who empowers me to see and realize my quick temperament and to not be foolish. You are the One who empowers me to let a soft answer flow from my mouth. You are the One who empowers me to remove myself and turn away from wrath and to remember that harsh words hurt, destroy, and stir up anger. You are the One who empowers me and gives me what I need to respond to difficult problems in the way You desire. You are the One who empowers me to survive the tough times and You give me Your strength to walk by faith. I often let my problem with my anger ferment until it spoils my heart. When someone sins against me or wrongs me, it brings up past hurts where people have hurt me before. These are areas where I have become bitter and rotten from the past. Sometimes it’s hard to forgive when we look back on the past because we still remember, in our subconscious, how we were treated. When I have a problem with anger, You empower me to go to You and ask, “Why do I feel this way?” You are the One who empowers me to turn anger and anxiety over to You, that I would receive Your comfort, joy, love, compassion, and peace. You are the One who empowers me to truly and lovingly forgive those who have harmed me.

My precious Jesus, You are the One who empowers me to prayerfully and truthfully place my burdens and cares in Your hands every day. Thank You for empowering me to take the time to talk to You to release my anxieties and bring every evil power that is attacking me to You, that You would replace them with Your healing and holiness for Your honor and glory. You are the quiet One who empowers me to lift my heart to You in meditation. You are the One who empowers me to take time to solely focus and meditate on You and Your ways. Thank You for empowering me to purposefully seek You with consideration for Your honor and glory. You are the One who empowers me to wait patiently, as I let You respond to my needs and requirements. On my walk with You, mediation upon You and Your ways is very important for me as a believer. You are the One who encourages me with Your holiness and power in my whole body, soul, and spirit. You are the One who empowers me to do whatever I do, in word or deed, in Your name as I give You thanks (Colossians 3:17). I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Declaration:
My God, my smoothing, renewing, and calming Lord Jesus, who is my rehabilitating and revitalizing cure, You are my Empowerer, my Rebuilder, and my Healer. My Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, You are the One who empowers me to walk in confidence for You and Your work. You are the One who empowers me to make every right decision. You have made it clear to me that You have called me to a life of freedom to love others just as You love me. I have opened my heart to You and have allowed You to work through me to rescue, repair, and restore those who are in bondage. You remain close to me, every day, and You guide me with Your strong hands of love. You are the One who strengthens and helps me when it comes to the brokenhearted. You are the One who empowers me to be generous and to refresh others (Proverbs 11:25). My gracious and calming Lord, You are the One who uses me to bring peace and salvation to the lost and this is Your perfect plan for me for Your honor and glory. You are the One who gives me Your grace to humble myself to others in need. I love You and I thank You for the honor and privilege of participating in the building of Your eternal kingdom. I praise You for who You are! You are the One who has empowered me to focus on You, that I would help fulfill the Great Commission. You are the One who empowers me to meditate upon You and Your ways in quiet submission. You are the One who speaks directly to me and allows me the honor and privilege of speaking directly to You. You are the One who reveals Your true character to me and gives me Your insight to guide and direct me. You are the One who leads me in meditation and contentment. I love spending time alone with You because it brings Your peace and revival into my whole body, soul, and spirit. My God, You are the One who empowers me to make time in my schedule, today and every day, for You in reverence to You. My Lord and wonderful Father, You are the Potter and I am the clay. You mold me and make me after thy will; I wait upon You, I am still, and I yield to You for Your purposes. I thank You and I pray in Your everlasting and gracious name of salvation, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

At this point in my life, the Lord had revealed to me that the majority of the negative feelings and results that I was experiencing were caused by an unwillingness to forgive. I had been severely hurt and oppressed by many people in my past and hadn't realized that I was harboring unforgiveness and bitterness toward them. As I allowed the Lord to continue to mold me into the person He wanted me to be, I was able to forgive all of my past offenders and was set completely free from every one of my burdens. By forgiving them, I was set free from ungodly addictions, I was set free from depression, and I was able to get closer to God—closer than I had ever been in my entire life.

The Lord taught me that forgiveness is choosing to keep the hurt in His hands and to only bring it up as a testimony to help someone else. Forgiveness is a lifelong decision. When negative feelings from our past arise, we must consider, “Maybe I haven’t truly forgiven them, or myself?” We are to take these burdens and pain to God to receive the strength to truly forgive. Once we choose to truly forgive, we must also choose leave the past in the past.

Through these trying times, the Lord also taught me how to receive even greater blessings. He taught that when we are grateful for what we have, we then put ourselves in a position to receive even more of what we need. From this point forward, God made His promises more real in my life by manifesting His power greater and greater in me and through me. As I continued to grow in His power and in faith through prayer, through fellowship with other Christians, and through His powerful and living Word of truth, I became a stronger Christian and began producing greater fruit unto the Lord.

I also learned how to pray in the name of Jesus, which means to pray in the power and the authority of Christ, for the sake of salvation, victory, or deliverance, and with the same motives as Christ. God most certainly hears the prayers of His children, but may not always say, “Yes,” to every one of them. This is what Jesus taught concerning prayer, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it,” (John 14:13-14, KJV, Emphasis Added). If you're not receiving the answers you're seeking, then it's time to reconsider your request and/or motives. The prayers you're seeking answers to may either be outside of God's will or it just may not be time for you to see that prayer come to pass. The apostle John reiterated Christ's teaching in his own words, as he wrote, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us,” (1 John 5:14, KJV). In other words, when we earnestly pray in Jesus' name—in the power and the authority of Christ, for the sake of salvation, victory, or deliverance, and with the same motives as Christ—God will surely answer!

My Prayer:
My God, Jesus Christ, who has the keys of day and night, Even though I fall, You are continuously with me and You hold me up with Your righteous right hand. When I think with my old self, I fail. Yet You, oh Lord, come back and strengthen my heart every time. It is good for me to draw near to You. You guide me with Your counsel. I remember the day that I met You, Lord. What a day it was! You, my God, have worked wonders in my life and have declared Your strength for all to know. You have showed me that my shame is coming from what has happened to me in the past, how I have been living in fear without Your peace, and how these things are extensions of my life before I met You. You are the One who transforms the night into bright and shining morning daylight. We need each other, Lord. You've taught me that there is sadness in all people before they meet You, but You have come to cover that sadness with Your love. The night has come. Your sun has gone and Your day has gone. Yet, You are still with me in my heart. Together, we have joy and happiness doing Your will. I did my best with You guiding me—witnessing to lost souls. What a great day. Some souls came to You! Now, I see stars poking through the black sky and soon it will be time to rest. You are the One who comforts me through the night and I thank You for a great day. I pray in Your precious name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your servant forever, Carol.

When in doubt pull the Bible, the powerful and living Word of truth, out.

My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, who gives me good things for my life, You are the One who delivers me from all the troubles and problems I have right now. You are the One who shows me the way. You are the One who places Your love, joy, grace, and mercy into my heart. You are the One who leads me in all of Your truth. Light up my way with Your bright love, wisdom, and understanding. I know You are concerned about me; I know You care. Don't ever forget me. Fill my whole body, soul, and spirit with Your eternal truth; Your everlasting Word. Help me to be confident in You, Lord. You are the One who destroys every evil and temptation that comes at me! You are the One who empowers me to speak Your positive Words and rely on Your strength through tough times. You are the One who gives me Your faith and wisdom-filled life every day, which You want me to experience. You are the One who empowers me to walk by faith. You are the One who empowers me to live a fulfilling, peaceful, and joyful life in You (Colossians 3:15). Lord, You are the One who empowers me to trust all of my life to Your commands when troubles come and life is hard to bear. Through prayer, You are the One who reminds me of Your Scripture that You are faithful and You will not suffer me to be tempted above what I am able to bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). You are the One who always empowers me to find Your way of escape, that I would be able to bear any temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). You are the One who empowers me and gives me Your strength, wisdom, and comfort whenever I need it to be victorious. Today on Your path, we’re at a friend’s house having a Bible study, learning Your Word. We’re all so happy and joyful learning Your Word with each other. We are telling each other the love You have for us and the trials and situations You have gotten us all through. We’re praising You. One woman said, “I don’t know what I would have done if the Lord wasn’t with me. He shows me, every day, how much He loves me and wants to protect me. Another said, “Oh, I can’t even count the blessings. God is truly there in all of my problems.” We study Your Word and we just swallow it up in our hearts. We are so thankful that You are our God. You hold our hands together, as we say a sweet goodbye prayer and a thank You for all that You have done for us and for the protection You’ll put before us. As I started to walk out the door, I heard, “Meow, meow, meow.” A beautiful grey cat giving milk to her babies. Them snuggling up to their momma. She’s got her big arm around all of them. She had four babies—brand new. Thank You, Lord, for all of my friends, for Your creation, and for the Bible studies, which are of You. My fabulous Creator of animals and friends, I pray in Your worthy name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Prayer:
My precious Lord Jesus Christ, who gives me Your encouraging and godly words to give to others, You are my great comfort and You refresh my whole being. The comfort I have in knowing about the power of Your blood brings me to You. You give me tender care, You empower me, and You keep me safe from evil predators and dishonest people. I know You protect me and I thank You, Jesus. When I lean on You, I am joyful and very secure. You are my true Spirit of love and You witness to my spirit, indeed. I am Your child and You pour out Your love into my life. You are my assurance and You will continue to produce good things for me. You do what You do because of who You are. Therefore, I love You and thank You for who You are. You are the One who has empowered me with specific characteristics and You empower me to display them in my life. You are the One who has empowered me to develop habits of giving, serving, and leading. You are the One who empowers me with Your godly characteristics, which You want to live in me and through me for Your honor and glory. You are the One who empowers me to tell people that You are with me, that You direct me, and that You teach me in all of my everyday situations. You are the One who empowers me to explain to them that You are my God who helps and directs my life because I believe in, trust in, and obey You; because I love You. You are the One who continuously empowers me to voice my praises to You—the fruit of my lips—as I give thanks to Your name (Hebrews 13:15). On Your inspiring, unlimited, and joyful path, I see a group of Your creations—all kinds of little hills. I see prairie dogs, all in colonies and little towns. They have houses of dirt and sand, which have been excavated from their burrows underneath. Travelers can see the rodents sitting in their mounds, waiting to alert others of danger. If someone comes close, they give a sharp, warning whistle and everyone scatters. They’re feeding on Your green vegetation. They are a rusty yellow color and some have white tails. You let me sit upon Your path and unwind from a long day of bringing souls to You. You let me relax in the beautiful image of Your creations. My sweet, cherished, and loving God and Master, I thank You for Your compassion and peace in which to rest. I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

My Prayer:
My God, Jesus Christ, who gives me faith, I was filled with Your presence, greater than ever, and I had new joy—but it didn't last. Gradually, my wonderful joy died down. The old temptations came back to me even stronger than before. You are the One who empowers me to read and listen to Your powerful and living Word of truth. The world's system tried to take over my life once again, but through You I can get up and stand strong. Still knowing that You are in my heart, dear Lord Jesus, I feel that You look at me like a failure. Depression has come into my life once again and it seems like I am dying inside. I am gripping on to things to keep me from fainting. It seems like a daily mountain to climb to come back to You, Lord. I know You won't let me down because You are my forgiving God and I do love You! You are the One who has taught me that I am the branch and You are the vine. I am to abide in You, You in me, and apart from You I can do nothing (John 15:5).
You are the One who makes it clear what my part is in our relationship. You are the One who empowers me to properly set my priorities and make every correct decision. Being a branch is like being a servant who obeys her master and does not take matters into her own hands. As Your servant, You are the One who makes my plans, shows me Your way, and guides me out of this depression. This is what it means to live a Spirit-filled life. Once I have surrendered everything to You and have accepted my place as a branch in You, it takes faith, trust, and obedience to remain in You. My faith keeps my mind focused on You, my trust strengthens my relationship with You, and my obedience helps me to remain close to You. You are the One who has a purpose for all of Your branches, which is to produce a great amount of spiritual fruit; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (Galatians 5:22, 23). I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

I thank You and I pray in Your abiding, motivating, and vitalizing name of greatness, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

My Prayer:
My Lord Jesus Christ, who never gives me more than I can bear, It seems like victory is so far away. The valley is deeper and wider. I feel defeated. I feel like I can't get to the top of the mountain anymore. It seems like my work for You is feeble and fruitless. Oh Lord, my heart is crying out for You, but I am so weak and down I feel that I just can't pick myself up. I feel so alone. Lord Jesus, You are the One who pulls me through this valley and up to the top of the mountain! I need You, Jesus. I am weak and You are so strong. You are the One who helps me, Jesus. Please hold my hand! You are the One who makes me strong and delivers me from evil. The seasons come and go as You bring me through every trial victoriously with Your tender love and kindness. My Declaration:
My Lord Jesus, my committed and merciful God whose great mercies are renewed for me every morning, Right now, this very day, I am preparing myself through You to change my ways to be more like You. My times of prayer with You are so vital and important. When I spend special time with You, I receive new love, compassion, peace, confidence, strength, ability, knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to change for the better. You already know me, how to perfectly provide for me, and where I need to change. You are the One who says, “Renew your mind daily by the washing of My powerful and living Word of truth. There is enough of Me in you for you to judge and correct yourself and to live in My righteousness. My child, I know everything and I just want to talk to you personally. I love talking to you and it gives Me joy to hear you say, ‘Jesus, can You help me today?’ Or simply, ‘I love You, Father.’ As we walk together, we have great times of fellowship, I enjoy seeing Your progress in Me, and I cherish your company.” Jesus, You are the One who gives me many new blessings and miracles every day. You are the One who gives me conviction and Your knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to pray over everything in my life—even my food. When I believe in Your power to cover my food with the protection of Your blood, it is cleansed; when I receive food with thanksgiving and ask You to bless it, it is purified and I can eat it joyfully. It’s such a relief to know that it’s good to honor You with what I eat. If I'm ever in a situation where the food is not so great, Your power is sufficient to cleanse it through prayer. This is another great miracle of Yours. You have restored all things by grace through faith in Your blood. Although You can cleanse any type of food, it’s still Your desire for me to eat a healthy and well-balanced diet including fresh fruits and vegetables. Hallelujah to You, my God, You are so great! I thank You and I pray in Your pure and healthy name of restoration, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

My Prayer:
My precious God, Jesus Christ, who leads me in and fills me with Your endurance, You are the One who produces Your good and power in me. You have given me Your Holy Spirit to dwell within me. Guide me, direct me in all truth, and protect me to do what You request of me. Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, I have no power—it all comes from You. You are the One who empowers me to let Your Holy Spirit work in my whole body, soul, and spirit. I know that Your Spirit cannot do this work in me while I am trying to do it on my own. I don't quite understand how Your Holy Spirit works in my life. When I hear Your Holy Spirit speak to me, I can be assured that what He says will be consistent with Your powerful and living Word of truth—Your Holy Scriptures. Your messages to me may be in conflict with my own human reasoning. Your Holy Spirit speaks to me to give me courage and patience. Your Holy Spirit tells me things such as, “Be strong and trust in My timing in all situations.” Sometimes Your Holy Spirit will instruct me to wait, trust in You, seek Your face, and fast and pray about the situation. Everything Your Holy Spirit tells me to do will lead me in spiritual growth. Your Holy Spirit will never direct me to anything that causes me to backslide or pull away from Your powerful and living Word of truth. You are the One who empowers me to recognize the voice of Your Holy Spirit and to listen to and trust in what He has to say. You are the One who empowers me to decide to obey Your Holy Spirit when He speaks to me. Your peace that passes all understanding will follow me when I obey Your Holy Spirit. Your Holy Spirit can speak to me wherever I am. You are the One who empowers me to trust in You and Your guidance and to leave the circumstances of every situation in Your hands to do with as You please. You are the One who tells me that it’s very important to listen to Your Holy Spirit. My communication with Your Holy Spirit is vital to my Christian walk with You. You are the One who empowers me to train myself to hear Your voice and to be ready to listen to Your guidance and encouragement when You speak to me. Your children are Your sheep, You know them, and they follow You (John 10:27). I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol.

You are the One who empowers me to be alert in difficult times and to not be deceived by any kind of influence, attitude, or behavior that is not of You. You are the One who strengthens me, that I would be obedient to Your powerful and living Word of truth. You are the One who comforts me and picks me up when I fall. You are the One who gives me strength where I am weak, that I would say, “No,” to all things that harm me. You empower me to say, “No,” to every evil temptation, that I would see Your glorious light. Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, I do all that I do for You, Your honor, and Your glory. You are the One who gives me of Your love and power when I need it most.
My Heavenly Father, You are the One who truly does love me. Your powerful and living Words of truth in John 14:27 comfort me, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let your heart not be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” You are the One who has developed healthy habits of living in me. You are the One who empowers me to bring my anxious thoughts and feelings to You, as soon as they come, and cast my cares upon You (1 Peter 5:7). To cast means to bring the things that are worrying, burdensome, and making me anxious to You, in prayer, and to leave those things with You. You are the One who releases Your perfect peace in my life. I am so grateful that You care for me and watch over me. You have brought me through every situation victoriously. You are the One who gives me Your encouragement, genuine love, new attitudes, and gratitude to calm my whole body, soul, and spirit in every situation and these are some of Your greatest promises on which I can rely! You are the paved pathway for me to a healthy, happy, peaceful, and joyful life. I thank You my Lord, Jesus Christ, and I pray in Your friendly, harmonious, and serene name of authority. Amen! Your servant forever.
