January 1997
My Prayer:
Jesus Christ, my God who helps me believe in Your personal goodness, You are the One who empowers me to tell myself the truth—Your truth. I am in trouble. You said to bring all my cares before You. Here I am, Lord! I am concerned about my life. You are the One who gives me Your wonderful wisdom and spiritual counsel where I am walking wounded. You are the One who empowers me to be healed and to understand where the worldly values that are not of You are in me. You are the One who empowers me to see them all, Lord. You are the One who mends and heals my wounded heart. You are the One who empowers me to renounce all evil that comes my way. You are the One who sets me free from the prison of the enemy. You are the One who empowers me with Your Scriptures when I feel stressed and in trouble. You empower me with Your Scripture verses as You weave and flow them into my heart to give me Your understanding, comfort, grace, and mercy to lean on You and go forward. You are the One who empowers me and fills me with Your great and wonderful Bible Scriptures that encourage me, motivate me, and give me Your powerful and living truth and inspirational quotes. Your powerful and living Word of truth empowers me on this road of recovery and gets rid of the old ways and habits and brings in Your new, godly habits.
Today, on Your path, we are meeting the dawn by a great blue lake. The ducks swim along and float. The beautiful dragonfly catches my eye. We’re taking time to rest. I’m thinking of You and how much You love me. I’m trusting in all of Your promises and believing that You know what’s best for me. I’m thinking of what You give me every day—blessing after blessing. I gain great treasures with You every day—it’s wonderful. The life You give me brings so many adventures. I enjoy spending time meeting new people. I stop these people I’ve never met before and I tell them of Your great love and the treasures You have for them—eternal life is the biggest treasure. Thank You, my absolute Lord. You are my great God and You are so valuable to me. I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol
My Declaration:
My Lord Jesus Christ, my God in whom I truly do believe, My faith in You is evident in the fruit I bear. In You, my actions are reaching out to all others to tell them of Your Good News of salvation. In You, my actions are pleasing to You. You are my almighty, spiritual power! You are the One whose kindness leads me to love. You are the One who gives me the ability to love as You do. You are the One who empowers me to bring others to You to receive Your free gift of salvation, that they would receive a new birth in You—that they would be born-again. You are the One who empowers me to help others to walk in the new life of freedom that You have for them. You are the One who teaches me how to bring people to You and who to bring to You. You are the One who speaks Your Words of comfort, love, compassion, and peace through me to others. Your incredible love, power, peace, and presence moving in and through me draw others to You. You are the One who uses me, as Your servant, to talk to others about Your powerful and living Word of truth.
Jesus Christ God Almighty, it is a top-priority miracle of mine to bring others to You that they would accept You as their personal Lord and Savior. When You become their God and King, Your grace, mercy, favor, love, compassion, peace, goodness, kindness, and faithfulness follow them everywhere they go. When they begin a real relationship with You, You restore them to true freedom. Lord Jesus, Your awesome love is always with us. You are the One who is excellent in everything that is good. You are my precious Spirit of God, of wisdom, of prophecy, of life, and of truth. You are my God of multiplication and blessings. You are the One who gives me heavenly values by which to live. Amen, amen! I praise You, Jesus, and all of Your children are more than conquerors in You! I thank You and I pray in Your name, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.
At this point, I had learned how to tap into the power of God's Spirit in me, but was still unaware of what was really going on. It's important to understand that our heart is our spirit and that our spirit is essentially our will and/or our desires. We are all born with a sinful nature. Therefore, our hearts and our desires are wicked from birth. This is why there is a need to be “born-again.” When a person is born-again, his spirit is illuminated from Heaven once again, like it was before the original sin of Adam and Eve. When a believer is truly born-again, God's Holy Spirit enters into his heart and gives him a new will and new desires. It is possible to revert back into our sinful nature by beginning to rely on our own strength once again. This is why it's so important to understand that it is never our own strength that causes us to live the way God wants us to live. It is God's Holy Spirit within us that is the true source of power for every born-again believer. As Christians, the more we surrender to God, who is in us by His Holy Spirit, the more successful we will be.

My Prayer:
My God and Lord Jesus Christ, who is my hope and future, I need You! I have an overwhelming task and I keep putting it off. I'm hoping love will take care of it. You are the One who empowers me to do my part in this task and take the right direction. You are the One who empowers me to take the first step. This is a difficult circumstance, Lord. You are the One who empowers me to begin today! Now! Right now! You are the One who empowers me to be on the right track and empowers me to obtain this distant goal in a way that is pleasing to You. Lord, it is easy to procrastinate and leave good and important things undone. Lord, You are the One who empowers me to actualize that I can accomplish my task with Your help. You are the One who empowers me to take the first step and You remind me that You are here with me—always and forever. You are the One who empowers me to see Your joy. I know I'll get it when I walk in Your will. You are the One who knows my plans. You are the One who helps me to make my plans Your plans. You are the One who empowers me to get up and go. You are the One who puts my heart at ease and You give me the desire and will to go forward. You empower me in these difficult situations with Your energy, strength, wisdom, and guidance to set the right goals and to do what I have to do for Your honor and glory. You are the One who empowers me with Your diligence and perseverance to make Your productive results real in every project You put before me, every day.
I love my walk with You on this path—how precious You are to me! You speak to me and I listen. Through prayer, You show me Your advancing light. You are the One who empowers me with Your courage, understanding, and ability to do whatever You want me to do on Your path before me. You are my refuge and strength—my very present help in trouble (Psalms 46:1). I lean on You, my Lord Jesus; You are my safety and power. I love You and I thank You. My empowering Lord Jesus Christ, I praise You and I pray in Your strong name of ability. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol
My Declaration:
My Lord Jesus, my brave and most courageous God who is my Shepherd, Provider, and Master, You are the One who reminds me that all things are possible with You. You are the One who shows me Your awesome power and the love that You have for me. You are the One who empowers me to spend time with You and lift my thoughts to You, that You would work Your incredible miracles in my life for Your honor and glory. You are the One who empowers me with Your love, power, peace, and presence to begin and complete every task that You give me to accomplish for Your honor and glory. You are my doctor. You are my Great Physician. You empower me with Your confidence, clarity, and every form of healing. You know it all and You can do it all. Your medication of love and compassion heals me. I say it again…all things are possible for and with You.
You empower and teach me how to use my time effectively and how to get all important things done properly and on time. You empower me and give me courage to take the first step and You continue to lead me in every step that is of You. You do wonderful things in my life and You answer my righteous prayers. That is what You do, Lord—You bless and bless and lead and guide me in all things. You are the One who gives me Your great, wonderful, and harmonious Bible Scriptures. You are the One who empowers me, encourages me, strengthens me, and guides me in Your insights as You lead me. You are the One who gives me motivational thoughts through Your Scriptural truths and inspirational Psalm quotes to help me to do Your will in every step I take, day and night. You are the One who keeps me right in the palm of Your hand. Hallelujah! I praise You, Lord. I thank You and I pray in Your inspirational and motivational name, Jesus Christ. Amen! My Prayer:
My Jesus Christ, who is my gift of life, I have lost my way! I am one of Your sheep that has gone astray and have turned to my own ways (Isaiah 53:6). “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death,” (Proverbs 14:12, NIV). “Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins,” (James 4:17, NIV). Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, You are the One who empowers me to do well and see my sin. Lord, I believe in You. I believe that You alone are my God. I believe that there is only One Mediator -- You, Jesus Christ. I realize that You do still love me.
Lord, You are the One who empowers me with Your faith, courage, and understanding to walk in Your ways. You are the One who empowers me to read Your powerful and living Word of truth and learn Your principles for living a wonderful life. Lord Jesus Christ, You are the One who empowers me to understand my walk with You, to grow spiritually every day, and to worship You with my life. You are the One who empowers me to understand sin and to turn from it. You are the One who empowers me to confess my sins daily and to share the joy that You have given me. I thank You for being my Savior and I praise You for who You are. Whether I am dealing with a loss in a relationship or I need to be restored to Your freedom, You are my beloved God who heals all of my wounds.
On this bright and sunny day of Yours, as we keep walking on Your path, it’s time to rest and night is coming. The house You have blessed me with is cool, so I put on the heat. It’s starting to get warm and comfortable now. I look out the window and I see Your many stars in the sky above. I count Your blessings. You have empowered me to be strong, patient, gentle, and wise in every situation You have given me today. You get me through the day. Everything is behind me except what You want me to use as a testimony. I’m lying down on my comfy bed with warm blankets. I close my eyes, as I trust that You’ll wake me in the morning. My Declaration:
My Lord Jesus Christ, my incredible, confident, and beneficial Love who keeps me looking forward, You are my bold, firm, and solid Lord. I am Your child and You are the only One who can provide for me completely. Your reflection of love is blessing me at all times. You assign Your goodness, love, and mercy to follow me every day. You guide me and provide everything I need to make the right choices. You are there in my life every day until You take me into eternity. My God Almighty, it’s great how awesome You are—how You are committed to me and how You are so merciful to me! You are my Most High God above all. You lavish Your love upon me. You are my companion and strength of comfort. You move quickly for me and, as You move through me, I gallop to do Your will! When I'm walking in Your will, I skip in joy and Your love gives me the strength to run Your race with diligence.
Thank You for empowering me to look at myself honestly for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to believe that You truly are my Mediator and Intercessor unto our Heavenly Father for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to spiritually grow every day and to possess the faith You want me to have for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to worship You in spirit and in truth and to possess the courage to walk Your way for Your honor and glory! My Prayer:
My Lord Jesus Christ, who is the giver of love, You are the One who lets me see life through Your eyes. Blessed be Your name forever and ever. You are the One who empowers me to put on my spiritual eyes so I can see myself as I really am. You are the One who lets me see my mistakes, my wrong doings, and my right doings. I not only want to see my sinfulness, but also the righteousness You provide. You are the One who touches the eyes of my heart and makes me see. You are the One who shows me all the truth about You, myself, and the world. You are the One who tells the truth and You have power over every person, place, and thing that exists.
The enemy loves to tell lies because he wants me to give up, but You empower me to remember that he only comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:9). You are the One who has already forgiven me and there is no condemnation in You (Romans 8:1). It doesn’t matter how bad my life has been in the past. Now I’m a born-again believer, I’m a true Christian, and I am Your child. You take all my past failures, Lord, and use them for my benefit and future in new ways. The enemy only has the power I let him have. Therefore, as of today, You are the One who empowers me to rebuke him and he has no power over me anymore!
Today, as I walk Your path with You, I see a patch of honeysuckle in its beauty hanging over a white fence. I see soft and downy green leaves and fragrant, trumpet-shaped red and white flowers. The hummingbirds, in all their color, gather together to eat nectar. Your bright and magnificent sun is shining on them all. They lift up their faces to You and Your glory and I believe they’re saying, “Thank You for this food, God.” Today, You have empowered me, in my heart, to love and to have compassion and peace in every conversation I have about You and Your will. As we have walked together today, I’ve dedicated each hour and minute to You to do as You please. Today You empowered me with stability in my emotions and gave me a clear mind. My dependable and steadfast Lord, I thank You, I love You, and I pray all of this in Your precious name, Jesus Christ. So be it. Amen! Your child forever, Carol
My Declaration:
My Lord Jesus, my blessed and amazing King who has all power, You are my abundant and extravagant Love! You are my respectful Commander. You are my wise and sweet Messenger who gives me the assurance to walk Your way. I tried to picture You in my mind and all I could see were abundant and beautiful colors of love and the golden light of Your sunshine, which warms my soul. I could feel Your compassionate and passionate love that covers the world as You wait patiently for Your servants to bring lost souls to You, that You would enter into their hearts and bring them into Your Kingdom. Your everlasting goodness and persistent love pursues me every day of my life. You are the One who empowers me to meditate upon, to make important, and to practice portraying Your magnificent character to all people. My Lord, You are so bountifully wonderful.
You are my God who bestows Your love and blessings profusely and abundantly upon me and everyone else who asks. This is a measure of the love You have for me and for all people. You have promised that Your goodness and mercy will always be with me. Thank You for opening the eyes of my heart, that I would see the hope to which You have called me, the riches of Your glorious inheritance for all saints, and the incomparably great power for we who believe! Hallelujah! My God, I praise You and I thank You for opening my eyes to see and experience the blessed life that You have for me. My Prayer:
My God, Jesus Christ, who leads me on the journey of Your plan, I understand and believe that in order to guide my children and grandchildren on the right path, I must first go that way myself. You are the One who empowers me, Jesus, to do so. Lord Jesus Christ, in order to see myself as I really am, I must look into the mirror of Your powerful and living Word of truth and Your will. You are the One who shows me Your truth. You are the One who empowers me to hear Your small, inner voice and obey everything You say with a pleasant and positive attitude. You are the One who teaches me Your way every day so I can teach my children, grandchildren, and others. You are my Bright Morning Star who wakes me early in the morning to do devotions with You. You are my Prince of Counsel—wise and timeless. You are the One who preaches Your powerful and living Word of truth to me. You are the One who changes all my thoughts to glorify You. You are the One who brings success and faithfulness, in Your fullness, to my family, myself, and everyone we encounter. You are the One who empowers me to remember Your Scripture that it is better to have a millstone tied around my feet and be thrown into to the ocean than to lead a little one astray. Thank You for empowering me to lead others in Your righteous ways.
Today on Your path, You have brought the grandchildren You have given me. They smile and giggle as they say, “Grandma, thank you for letting us come over. We love you so much!” I sit them down in the middle of the floor and give them picture books of You and prayers to read. I sit with them to share what You have to say to them. I put Noah’s ark out and all his animals. They play and share together as they laugh and ask about all the animals. Thank You, my Lord Jesus, for all of Your Christian books and toys that teach my babies about You and Your will. You love us all, especially the little ones. My Declaration:
Jesus Christ, my upright, honorable, and favorable Master who is my abundant and merciful God, You are my tender Father and through Your redemption I have Your Spirit in my heart. When I accepted You as my Savior, all of Your riches became mine; all mercy, all goodness, all love, all security, and everything that is good is mine in You. I am a co-heir with You, my Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty! You claim me as Your own child, You bless me, and the strength of Your powerful and living Word of truth empowers me with Your confidence, peace, and the assurance of Your presence in me in all that I do! You watch over my every step. Thank You for empowering me to be who You want me to be; a mighty and powerful reflection of who You are. Thank You for empowering me to be a guide to my children and grandchildren and to lead them on Your right path of holiness and righteousness.
You teach me that the greatest signs of holiness and righteousness are how I treat others. Thank You for empowering me to love others as You love me. Thank You for creating special and amazing plans and purposes for me that are filled with great moments of the treasures of Your love, compassion, and peace. Thank You for empowering me to trust in You with all my heart and to lean on Your understanding. Thank You for empowering me to acknowledge You in all my ways. Thank You for directing my path. My Prayer:
My awesome God, Jesus Christ, who is love, I regret the foolish ways I have taken on my journey in life. You are the One who forgives me. There are so many paths that are ungodly and so easy to step into. These paths have delayed me from doing Your work and Your will. You are the One who empowers me starting today, Jesus Christ, to choose Your roads and paths. You are the One who empowers me to believe and trust that if I follow and obey Your ways, I will always win. Thank You for empowering me to put the past behind me, besides my testimony, and move forward in Your righteousness and will for Your honor and glory. I thank You for my new life and for the fact that You have empowered me with Your joy, peace, loving-kindness, purpose, fulfillment, righteousness, strength, and the ability to walk upon Your path. Thank You for empowering me to have discernment, understanding, and strength to get through every problem, burden, and tribulation in Your godly way for Your honor and glory. Thank You for being the One who gives me self-control and self-discipline over all that I do. Thank You for empowering me with complete discernment over my life, including places and people I am around, for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to be blessed, happy, joyful, forgiving, and to walk upright and speak truthfully for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to have good conduct and conversations and to walk an orderly life in Your sight for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to discern and recognize the enemy and his words and to immediately rebuke them for Your honor and glory!
Today on Your path as we walk together, I am rejoicing as I leap for joy. Indeed, my rewards are great in Heaven (Luke 6:23)! It’s amazing to know where I have walked with You on Your path; all the souls I have brought to You to be saved, all the new Christian friends You have brought to me to keep forever—who I’ll see in Heaven—and all the different churches, which are truly of You, where I can send the new Christians. Thank You for this great, wonderful, and beautiful day of blessings, in which You have empowered me with Your grace, mercy, and favor! Thank You for empowering me to take steps forward in believing that You know the perfect way along Your path. Now, we’re taking a break to rest. I see a beautiful garden with big, pretty rocks all around it. I see asters -- which are huge varieties of crimson, pink, violet, and blue flowers -- which bloom all throughout the morning and even in the afternoon sun. The garden is surrounded with a white picket fence with a dog barking, “This is my house. I’m on watch today, protecting this place. If you harm me or my house, I’ll get you good.” You are the One who breathes new life into everything—even that big, protective dog. My Declaration:
My Lord Jesus Christ, my traveling companion who gives me a long and abundant life, You are the One who has promised me that I will live forever. You are my brilliant and radiant Master. You are my Prince of Peace who opens my ears, soul, and heart to receive Your blessings. You are my Miracle Maker who makes all things possible. You are my compassionate light of power. You are a candle in my heart that burns day and night. Your love flows among the heavens and earth, in and through me, to all others. You are so terrific and wonderful! You are in my heart at all times. You are the light within that brings Your truth to all people. You are my Savior who died for me. You are my everything. You are my first true love. You have taken me on this journey of life and Your forgiveness and obedience lives in me and through me every day.
Thank You for empowering me with the encouragement and ability to believe in Your ways for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to be led on Your path toward greater accomplishments for Your honor and glory! Thank You for empowering me to be led on Your path of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom for Your honor and glory. You are the One who leads me to higher places every day, for Your honor and glory. I praise You, my desirable, diligent, and virtuous Helper and Director. Hallelujah, hallelujah to You, my God! I am winning, Lord, because I am following Your ways. Thank You for empowering me to be a leader for You and Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to be an inspirational teacher and instructor, who gives Your true, righteous, and godly Scriptures to all who are willing to receive for Your honor and glory. My Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, who gives me physical, mental, and spiritual victory, You are my Teacher. Thank You for empowering me to walk on Your path, that I would lead my children and grandchildren toward You for Your honor and glory. You always have an alternate route that is paved with Your blessings. You are the One who empowers me to trust in You with all my heart, and to not lean on my own understanding; I acknowledge You in all my ways and You direct my paths (Proverbs 3:5, 6). Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, thank You for empowering me to daily, hourly, minute-by-minute, continue on a path that is straight; a path that is directed by You. You are the One who empowers me to model it clearly, that my children and grandchildren would see the right way to You. Thank You for empowering me to have strength and overcome all my trials and tribulations, as I put my faith in You for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to have belief when I don’t believe and to have faith when I don’t have faith, for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to have a positive attitude and to lean on and trust You in all situations for Your honor and glory.
Today on Your path, Lord, the grandchildren, grandpa, and I are all walking through the woods. We are getting ready to set up camp by the river. We see blooming flowers and big, high trees. The children are running around, laughing with each other as they say, “We’ll help you set up the tents.” It’s night now and we’re sitting by the lit campfire. Everyone is tired. I point out the stars and big moon that You’ve created. Now we’re saying good night prayers for protection over all of us. Thank You for such a great day with my grandchildren. My Declaration:
My Lord Jesus Christ, who holds me together, You are the One who raises the morning sun with Your powerful voice. You are my Master who is exalted, cherished greatly, and who sits on Your Heavenly throne. You are my Father in whom I believe and delight. You have adopted me with Your blood, and You love me as Your true child. You are my Lord and Peacemaker. You give me Your peace because You are with me, Your peace is from Heaven, and it causes my heart to be at ease and courageous (John 14:27). This is one of Your special and miraculous gifts of inheritance, which I have received in You as a born-again believer.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for empowering my heart to be calm, certain, and content for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to be bold, brave, and confident for Your honor and glory. I am joyful to be a part of Your family and I claim my inheritance in You. The moment I welcomed You into my heart, I accepted You as my Savior and, by grace through faith, I am now Your child! You are my Father and Your sovereignty rules my heart and soul. Thank You for empowering me to seek Your perfect will for my life and to walk in and obey Your righteous ways. I trust in Your will for my whole being—body, soul, and spirit. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, for empowering me to lean on Your understanding for Your honor and glory; I acknowledge You in all my ways and You direct my paths! Thank You for empowering me to be a clear, godly, Christian role model unto my children, grandchildren, and others, that they would see Your light and love in and through me. Hallelujah! My balanced and valiant Master, Friend, and Rock, I love You so much! Thank You for empowering me to nurture Your temple, my body, for Your purposes and for Your honor and glory. My Father, thank You for empowering me to learn about proper nutrition and to work it into my life for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to eat good and nutritious food and to have godly, positive, and loving attitudes, which bring Your perfect health and laughter to my whole body, soul, and spirit and make me happy for Your honor and glory.
I thank You for empowering me to make time to rest, to put my family duties and outings in order, and to put my priorities in order for Your honor and glory. Lord, thank You for empowering me to set a reasonable and proper schedule, which makes You and Your will my priority for Your honor and glory. It’s such a privilege and thrill to know You; You are the greatest person who has ever come into my life, and I have a special place with You. You are number One in my life. I thank You and I pray in Your powerful and wholesome name of abundance, Jesus Christ. Amen! Your servant forever.

My Prayer:
My Lord Jesus Christ, who makes dynamic changes in my life, I am sharing my feelings with You. She is sick again, Lord, and we are facing the reality of losing her. My precious Jesus, it’s time for her to go home to You. It is hard not to sink into despair. I can't deny the pain. This is a rough path. My sorrows fill my eyes with tears. We all love her so much. She is my sister and my friend. Lord, You travel with me, You are my companion, and You hold my hand. As she prepares to pass on into eternity with You, come and soothe my heart and soul and calm my fear. You are the One who empowers me to rise above every negative lie of the enemy and to pursue Your life-giving, powerful, and living Word of truth. I know You are with me in this trying time of loss. You are the One who gives me Your spiritual progress, love, and understanding. In this rough time, You are strengthening me and encouraging me to stay close to You. You are the One who empowers me to be filled with Your peace in my life, because I know she’s with You and that You truly are God.
You are the One who reminds me that, when I go home with You, You will send me an angel to take me home to Your glorious Heaven and all of my troubles will be over. My sister will be there waiting for me, because she’s born-again believer and she loved You dearly. She told me as she was dying, “I have no fear. I will meet Jesus in the morning.” “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me,” (Psalm 23:4, KJV). My God, Jesus Christ, with whom I'm intimate in prayer, You are the One who lifts my heart with Your dynamic love. You are the One who transfers Your grace and faith to me. You are the One who balances my feelings, that I would know what’s going on. You are the One who refreshes my spirit and gives me a deeper relationship with You. You are the One who lets Your joy and laughter come out of my heart to all others. You are so awesome! I praise and worship You with my life! Lord Jesus, You are the One who is with me in my difficult times, in all of my trials and tribulations, and even when I feel You are far away. You are right here with me—in my heart—holding me in the palm of Your hand. You are the One who heals all of my brokenness, generational curses, addictions, hurts, and pains and restores all of me to You. You are the One who empowers me to destroy the enemy’s strongholds and fortresses, that his plans would be ruined! You restore lost relationships and even give me new ones. Today on Your path, Lord, I realize that this is a journey toward Your promised land—Heaven. My job is to bring many, many souls to You along the way. It is Your desire that no one would perish and go to Hell forever and ever (2 Peter 3:9). My Prayer:
My God, Jesus Christ, who increases Your wisdom, virtues, and blessings within me, You are all power. Today, I am afraid and confused. If I am afraid of people, I stop following You. I know that if I am afraid, I am not trusting You; it shows that I have doubted Your plans, Your power, and Your promises. I have failed to recognize that You, Lord Jesus, are above all other gods. You are the only One who is to be feared; You are to be revered, trusted, loved, and obeyed. My Lord Jesus who has all power and strength, You are the One who forgives me for not trusting and believing in Your way! You are the One who empowers me to not be afraid and to see and walk in Your ways. You are the One who reshapes my heart and helps me. You are the One who gives me steps to climb toward You. You are the way, the truth, and the life and You are my precious Lord Jesus. There are times when I should have been angry, but Your understanding and peace came through in those circumstances. When my heart was broken from my past, I lived in the old ways and old thinking. I felt like a victim, but I know that I am not a victim anymore. Thank You for empowering me to be ready to fight the spiritual battles of the enemy for Your honor and glory! Thank You for giving me control over the enemy for Your honor and glory! Lord Jesus, thank You for removing my burdens and for delivering me into Your grace and mercy for Your honor and glory. You are not the Author of confusion, but of peace. As you will observe in the continuing prayers, my relationship with God began taking on a deeper intimacy as He continued to answer my prayers. He gave me the power to change through His love, understanding, and compassion. You should be able to note a difference in the nature of my prayers from this point forward. You will see how I have fallen even deeper in love with the Lord and how my appreciation has grown tremendously. I'm so thankful that He's my God. He continues to guide and direct me in all that I do. In the former prayers, you have read me asking God to change me and to help become who He wants me to be. I went through many trials and tribulations because of my stubbornness and pain of the past, which was holding me down. In order to break the enemy’s strongholds and generational curses, I had to learn how to surrender to God and I eventually became a happier and better person for Him. There were many times when it was hard to believe and trust in His ways and that they were the very best for me. I opened my heart and God allowed His strength, compassion, patience, understanding, and wisdom to move in me and through me to others. As I let Him live, and as I shared what He gave me, He covered my whole being with these amazing blessings and helped me to change; I changed because I allowed Him to live in me greater and greater. Jesus Christ, my God who helps me believe in Your personal goodness, You are the One who empowers me to tell myself the truth—Your truth. I am in trouble. You said to bring all my cares before You. Here I am, Lord! I am concerned about my life. You are the One who gives me Your wonderful wisdom and spiritual counsel where I am walking wounded. You are the One who empowers me to be healed and to understand where the worldly values that are not of You are in me. You are the One who empowers me to see them all, Lord. You are the One who mends and heals my wounded heart. You are the One who empowers me to renounce all evil that comes my way. You are the One who sets me free from the prison of the enemy. You are the One who empowers me with Your Scriptures when I feel stressed and in trouble. You empower me with Your Scripture verses as You weave and flow them into my heart to give me Your understanding, comfort, grace, and mercy to lean on You and go forward. You are the One who empowers me and fills me with Your great and wonderful Bible Scriptures that encourage me, motivate me, and give me Your powerful and living truth and inspirational quotes. Your powerful and living Word of truth empowers me on this road of recovery and gets rid of the old ways and habits and brings in Your new, godly habits.
Today, on Your path, we are meeting the dawn by a great blue lake. The ducks swim along and float. The beautiful dragonfly catches my eye. We’re taking time to rest. I’m thinking of You and how much You love me. I’m trusting in all of Your promises and believing that You know what’s best for me. I’m thinking of what You give me every day—blessing after blessing. When they begin a real relationship with You, You restore them to true freedom. Lord Jesus, Your awesome love is always with us. You are the One who is excellent in everything that is good. At this point, I had learned how to tap into the power of God's Spirit in me, but was still unaware of what was really going on. It's important to understand that our heart is our spirit and that our spirit is essentially our will and/or our desires. We are all born with a sinful nature. Therefore, our hearts and our desires are wicked from birth. This is why there is a need to be “born-again.” When a person is born-again, his spirit is illuminated from Heaven once again, like it was before the original sin of Adam and Eve. When a believer is truly born-again, God's Holy Spirit enters into his heart and gives him a new will and new desires. It is possible to revert back into our sinful nature by beginning to rely on our own strength once again. This is why it's so important to understand that it is never our own strength that causes us to live the way God wants us to live. It is God's Holy Spirit within us that is the true source of power for every born-again believer. As Christians, the more we surrender to God, who is in us by His Holy Spirit, the more successful we will be.

My God and Lord Jesus Christ, who is my hope and future, I need You! I have an overwhelming task and I keep putting it off. I'm hoping love will take care of it. You are the One who empowers me to do my part in this task and take the right direction. You are the One who empowers me to take the first step. This is a difficult circumstance, Lord. You are the One who empowers me to begin today! Now! Right now! You are the One who empowers me to be on the right track and empowers me to obtain this distant goal in a way that is pleasing to You. Lord, it is easy to procrastinate and leave good and important things undone. Lord, You are the One who empowers me to actualize that I can accomplish my task with Your help. You are the One who empowers me to take the first step and You remind me that You are here with me—always and forever. You are the One who empowers me to see Your joy. I know I'll get it when I walk in Your will. You are the One who knows my plans. You are the One who helps me to make my plans Your plans. You are the One who empowers me to get up and go. You are the One who puts my heart at ease and You give me the desire and will to go forward. You empower me in these difficult situations with Your energy, strength, wisdom, and guidance to set the right goals and to do what I have to do for Your honor and glory. My Jesus Christ, who is my gift of life, I have lost my way! I am one of Your sheep that has gone astray and have turned to my own ways (Isaiah 53:6). “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death,” (Proverbs 14:12, NIV). “Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins,” (James 4:17, NIV). Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, You are the One who empowers me to do well and see my sin. Lord, I believe in You. I believe that You alone are my God. I believe that there is only One Mediator -- You, Jesus Christ. I realize that You do still love me.
Lord, You are the One who empowers me with Your faith, courage, and understanding to walk in Your ways. You are the One who empowers me to read Your powerful and living Word of truth and learn Your principles for living a wonderful life. My Lord Jesus Christ, who is the giver of love, You are the One who lets me see life through Your eyes. Blessed be Your name forever and ever. You are the One who empowers me to put on my spiritual eyes so I can see myself as I really am. You are the One who lets me see my mistakes, my wrong doings, and my right doings. I not only want to see my sinfulness, but also the righteousness You provide. You are the One who touches the eyes of my heart and makes me see. You are the One who shows me all the truth about You, myself, and the world. You are the One who tells the truth and You have power over every person, place, and thing that exists.
The enemy loves to tell lies because he wants me to give up, but You empower me to remember that he only comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:9). You are the One who has already forgiven me and there is no condemnation in You (Romans 8:1). It doesn’t matter how bad my life has been in the past. Now I’m a born-again believer, I’m a true Christian, and I am Your child. You take all my past failures, Lord, and use them for my benefit and future in new ways. The enemy only has the power I let him have. Therefore, as of today, You are the One who empowers me to rebuke him and he has no power over me anymore!
Today, as I walk Your path with You, I see a patch of honeysuckle in its beauty hanging over a white fence. I see soft and downy green leaves and fragrant, trumpet-shaped red and white flowers. The hummingbirds, in all their color, gather together to eat nectar. Your bright and magnificent sun is shining on them all. They lift up their faces to You and Your glory and I believe they’re saying, “Thank You for this food, God.” Today, You have empowered me, in my heart, to love and to have compassion and peace in every conversation I have about You and Your will. As we have walked together today, I’ve dedicated each hour and minute to You to do as You please. Today You empowered me with stability in my emotions and gave me a clear mind. My God, Jesus Christ, who leads me on the journey of Your plan, I understand and believe that in order to guide my children and grandchildren on the right path, I must first go that way myself. You are the One who empowers me, Jesus, to do so. Lord Jesus Christ, in order to see myself as I really am, I must look into the mirror of Your powerful and living Word of truth and Your will. You are the One who shows me Your truth. You are the One who empowers me to hear Your small, inner voice and obey everything You say with a pleasant and positive attitude. Today on Your path, You have brought the grandchildren You have given me. They smile and giggle as they say, “Grandma, thank you for letting us come over. We love you so much!” I sit them down in the middle of the floor and give them picture books of You and prayers to read. I sit with them to share what You have to say to them. I put Noah’s ark out and all his animals. They play and share together as they laugh and ask about all the animals. My awesome God, Jesus Christ, who is love, I regret the foolish ways I have taken on my journey in life. You are the One who forgives me. There are so many paths that are ungodly and so easy to step into. These paths have delayed me from doing Your work and Your will. You are the One who empowers me starting today, Jesus Christ, to choose Your roads and paths. You are the One who empowers me to believe and trust that if I follow and obey Your ways, I will always win. Thank You for empowering me to put the past behind me, besides my testimony, and move forward in Your righteousness and will for Your honor and glory. I thank You for my new life and for the fact that You have empowered me with Your joy, peace, loving-kindness, purpose, fulfillment, righteousness, strength, and the ability to walk upon Your path. Today on Your path as we walk together, I am rejoicing as I leap for joy. Indeed, my rewards are great in Heaven (Luke 6:23)! It’s amazing to know where I have walked with You on Your path; all the souls I have brought to You to be saved, all the new Christian friends You have brought to me to keep forever—who I’ll see in Heaven—and all the different churches, which are truly of You, where I can send the new Christians. Thank You for this great, wonderful, and beautiful day of blessings, in which You have empowered me with Your grace, mercy, and favor! Thank You for empowering me to take steps forward in believing that You know the perfect way along Your path. Now, we’re taking a break to rest. I see a beautiful garden with big, pretty rocks all around it. I see asters -- which are huge varieties of crimson, pink, violet, and blue flowers -- which bloom all throughout the morning and even in the afternoon sun. The garden is surrounded with a white picket fence with a dog barking, “This is my house. I’m on watch today, protecting this place. Today on Your path, Lord, the grandchildren, grandpa, and I are all walking through the woods. We are getting ready to set up camp by the river. We see blooming flowers and big, high trees. The children are running around, laughing with each other as they say, “We’ll help you set up the tents.” It’s night now and we’re sitting by the lit campfire. Everyone is tired. My Lord Jesus Christ, who makes dynamic changes in my life, I am sharing my feelings with You. She is sick again, Lord, and we are facing the reality of losing her. My precious Jesus, it’s time for her to go home to You. It is hard not to sink into despair. I can't deny the pain. This is a rough path. My sorrows fill my eyes with tears. We all love her so much. She is my sister and my friend. Lord, You travel with me, You are my companion, and You hold my hand. As she prepares to pass on into eternity with You, come and soothe my heart and soul and calm my fear. You are the One who empowers me to rise above every negative lie of the enemy and to pursue Your life-giving, powerful, and living Word of truth. I know You are with me in this trying time of loss. You are the One who gives me Your spiritual progress, love, and understanding. In this rough time, You are strengthening me and encouraging me to stay close to You. My God, Jesus Christ, with whom I'm intimate in prayer, You are the One who lifts my heart with Your dynamic love. You are the One who transfers Your grace and faith to me. You are the One who balances my feelings, that I would know what’s going on. You are the One who refreshes my spirit and gives me a deeper relationship with You. You are the One who lets Your joy and laughter come out of my heart to all others. You are so awesome! I praise and worship You with my life! Lord Jesus, You are the One who is with me in my difficult times, in all of my trials and tribulations, and even when I feel You are far away. You are right here with me—in my heart—holding me in the palm of Your hand. You are the One who heals all of my brokenness, generational curses, addictions, hurts, and pains and restores all of me to You. You are the One who empowers me to destroy the enemy’s strongholds and fortresses, that his plans would be ruined! You restore lost relationships and even give me new ones. You are the One I can come and cry to; You hear me and You help me. You are the One who gives me Your abundant blessings.

My God, Jesus Christ, who is my Hero with whom I am connected, I come to You, Jesus, feeling refreshed, excited, and joyful. My heart is on fire for You, Jesus. You are so fabulous, so perfect!! Today on Your path, Lord, I realize that this is a journey toward Your promised land—Heaven. My job is to bring many, many souls to You along the way. This is my main purpose and privilege on earth—the reason I’m still here. Thank You for empowering me with Your wisdom, mercy, and grace to bring them to You for Your honor and glory. It is Your desire that no one would perish and go to Hell forever and ever (2 Peter 3:9). Along my way, on Your path, You give me beauty, compassion, dreams, family, friends, shelter, food, water, and so many other abundant and unexplainable blessings. Lord, You are the One who assures me that I will receive many blessings and rewards as I walk with You and that apart from You I can do nothing. There are times when I’m attacked by the enemy and I fall, but You’re right there to pick me up, heal me, and help me keep going. You are the One who empowers me, with Your Holy Spirit, to learn from my mistakes and defeat the enemy the next time he attacks. As I put on Your full armor, my whole body, soul, and spirit are guarded with Your love and power! The moment I became a born-again believer—when I asked You into my heart—You became my personal Lord and Savior. Since then, many changes have occurred in my life. I am now secure in You and You constantly deliver Your stable peace to me in every situation. My God, Jesus Christ, who increases Your wisdom, virtues, and blessings within me, You are all power. Today, I am afraid and confused. If I am afraid of people, I stop following You. I know that if I am afraid, I am not trusting You; it shows that I have doubted Your plans, Your power, and Your promises. I have failed to recognize that You, Lord Jesus, are above all other gods. You are the only One who is to be feared; You are to be revered, trusted, loved, and obeyed. My Lord Jesus who has all power and strength, You are the One who forgives me for not trusting and believing in Your way! You are the One who empowers me to not be afraid and to see and walk in Your ways. You are the One who reshapes my heart and helps me. You are the One who gives me steps to climb toward You. You are the way, the truth, and the life and You are my precious Lord Jesus. There are times when I should have been angry, but Your understanding and peace came through in those circumstances. When my heart was broken from my past, I lived in the old ways and old thinking. I felt like a victim, but I know that I am not a victim anymore. Thank You for empowering me to be ready to fight the spiritual battles of the enemy for Your honor and glory! Thank You for giving me control over the enemy for Your honor and glory! I put my hand up and say, “Get behind me, Satan! I serve my God Almighty, Jesus Christ! He is my ultimate power! He has already won victory over you and you have no claim over me!! I rebuke You and all of Your condemning thoughts, in Jesus' name!”
Lord Jesus, thank You for removing my burdens and for delivering me into Your grace and mercy for Your honor and glory. You are not the Author of confusion, but of peace. Thank You for empowering me to love like You love and to walk by faith when I cannot see, for Your honor and glory (2 Corinthians 5:7). Thank You for empowering me to follow Your leading and spiritual guidance for Your honor and glory. Thank You for empowering me to accept Your blessings for Your honor and glory. You are the One who holds me safely in Your arms and I know I can rely on You every day.
Lord, as we walk upon Your path today, I may not be able to understand everything in this strange world, but at least I am not alone in the midst of this crowd. You have a purpose, a part, and a place for me. Along the way, I proclaim Your Gospel of salvation. I have learned Your Scriptures and I keep Your thoughts in my mind. You bring all the right Scriptures to my remembrance, as You use me for Your purposes. On this journey, You are my great Provider of life. In You, I live, move, and have my being. As I continue along this journey, You supply beautiful scenery, beautiful mountains, landscapes of flowers with animals walking through them, kind people who offer me food, great places to rest, helpers to help me, and true purpose and fulfillment. My Declaration:
My Lord Jesus, my rational Leader who is my strongest form of benevolent love, You are the gift of light to my path. You have given me Your strength and the desire to be a hard worker for You. I have made an altar in my heart to You—even though You are beyond the heavens. Thank You for empowering me with Your Holy Scriptures and the putting on of Your full armor every day for Your honor and glory. Blessed be You, my God and Father in Heaven, who according to Your abundant mercy has given me a new birth into a living hope by Your resurrection from the dead (1 Peter 1:3)! Thank You, Jesus, for empowering me with Your powerful and living Word of truth. It dwells in me richly, in all wisdom, that I would teach and admonish my brothers and sisters in You with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs! We sing with grace in our hearts to You, our Lord and God! Our precious Lord Jesus Christ, every word we speak and every deed we do is all in Your name! I thank my Heavenly Father. I belong to You, Jesus Christ, and I allow You to use me as You please. You are the One who brings all my ways into Your ultimate ways. You are the highest and purest example of righteousness, truth, and compassion.
Thank You for empowering me with the ability and opportunity to let Your love, kindness, and power flow through me to all others for Your honor and glory. You are the One who gives me full and complete clarity in body, soul, and spirit. You are my Most High God and it is a wonderful privilege to revere, trust in, love, and obey You. Lord Jesus, my greatest pleasure in life is You. You are my love and You are my happiness of existence. Happiness is good and the place to be happy is with You. Thank You for empowering me to be happy and to have a beautiful union with You for Your honor and glory. Your happiness is a running stream of love, compassion, peace, and joy. Your happiness is in me, abundantly, and I love to share it! My Lord Jesus Christ, I praise You, I thank You for Your forgiveness, and I pray in Your precious and abundant name of joy. Amen! As you will observe in the continuing prayers, my relationship with God began taking on a deeper intimacy as He continued to answer my prayers. He gave me the power to change through His love, understanding, and compassion. You should be able to note a difference in the nature of my prayers from this point forward. You will see how I have fallen even deeper in love with the Lord and how my appreciation has grown tremendously. I'm so thankful that He's my God. He continues to guide and direct me in all that I do. In the former prayers, you have read me asking God to change me and to help become who He wants me to be. I went through many trials and tribulations because of my stubbornness and pain of the past, which was holding me down. In order to break the enemy’s strongholds and generational curses, I had to learn how to surrender to God and I eventually became a happier and better person for Him. There were many times when it was hard to believe and trust in His ways and that they were the very best for me. I opened my heart and God allowed His strength, compassion, patience, understanding, and wisdom to move in me and through me to others. As I let Him live, and as I shared what He gave me, He covered my whole being with these amazing blessings and helped me to change; I changed because I allowed Him to live in me greater and greater. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I praise You, Lord, and I thank You for loving me! I have a much better life now. I have freedom in You, Jesus!
