DEDICATION
I dedicate this book to You, Jesus Christ God Almighty. I hold up my hands and heart high to You. You have given me a new life and purpose. You have given me whatever I need to walk in this broken world. I do adore You. In this life, I have had many victories through You. You have given me a great compassion for lost souls. In all my battles, You have given me the armor to fight and be the soldier You want me to be. You have showed me that You are all-powerful and that You have all the answers. How wonderful You are!
When it comes to this book, You kept the dream to get it published alive in my heart for forty years. Even when it was lost for five years, You kept telling me. Even when I didn't believe that the book would get published, You kept the dream alive by encouraging me that it would. Almost every day, You would open doors for me to think about the book. As time went on, I kept studying and writing to You. I would study Your powerful and living Word of truth and let it flow from me to others. I would also tell them about the new life You have given me. I have learned that when I surrender my whole life to You, You guide me and protect me.
Lord, I am Yours. Whenever it's time for You to take me home, I'm not afraid. I'm ready. Until that day comes, I'll serve You. You have set me free from the chains of this broken world. I know that when the day comes for You to take me home, You will take care of all my friends and family because I have prayed for them. I have prayed for their salvation and their protection and I have put them in Your hands. I believe that You will not let them go until they make You their Savior. You have given me Your grace, mercy and favor in my life. I praise You, Lord, and thank You. You have made Your narrow path visible to me, that I would walk with You.
I love You, Lord. I am ready to serve You, Lord. Not my will, but Your will, Lord. Go before me and make my crooked way straight and my path right for Your honor and glory. No matter where You take me, I do not fear because fear is not of You. You are always with me. You have plans for me and You have a home for me. You've promised me a mansion, a beautiful home in Heaven. I am Yours and You are mine. Each day when waking, I hear Your powerful and living Word of truth before me, guiding me. Your powerful and living Word of truth is righteousness and Your light in it leads me in every step I take upon Your path. Each day, I feel You pulling me forward to do Your will. Thank You, Jesus. I'm glad You’re walking right here next to me on this journey. Even in the little things, You are there.
You made me brave. When You call my name, I will be ready and Your angels will carry me home. You put Your angels beside me, before me, and behind me for protection and guidance. I will go wherever Your path leads me, pulling new believers along with me. Most importantly, I look back to my past and see and remember that You were always there for me. I am thankful that You have chosen me to serve You; what a blessed journey it has been. Even when the path was bumpy and when I fell and felt as though I couldn't get up, You picked me up and led me on. You'd say, “Okay, Carol. Here I am. Here we go again.” I am Yours, Lord. Use me in every situation until You take me home. Let me be a servant that does Your will.
You remind me that I have a contract with You. I signed it with my heart, believing that You had my best interests in mind. Your goals are now my goals. You let me know clearly that these broken people need You. You are my general and You know what is best for all of us. You want me to pick up my armor, daily, and follow You in this battle. There are lost souls out there that still need You. You want to open my heart and use me to tell them about You. Every day, I will let Your light speedily shine through me. You talk through me to the broken-hearted with Your salvation and Your love heals their wounds, sorrow, and pain. Thank You for empowering me to rescue lost souls from the pit of Hell and destruction for Your honor and glory. Lord, I dedicate this book to You because of who You are, because of Your goodness and compassion, and for all of the benefits You have given me.
Lord, I trust You. I give myself to You, believing that You will always empower me. You allow Your forgiveness to shine through me to others. I have received Your love and it's so good. I take refuge in Your love. Your love is tenderhearted, compassionate, understanding, forgiving, and gentle to me. Jesus, I do love You. I could not have written this book without You. It's all about You and Your will. In writing this book, You gave me Your wisdom, confidence, strength, and the ability to make the right decisions. You granted me Your peace and joy as I wrote this book for You. Even in the midst of hard times, when I thought I would never get finished, You calmed me down and reminded me that Your will be done. You continued to guide me and direct me in writing. You do care for me.
When the book was lost, You kept reminding me that it was somewhere in the house. I turned everything upside down and would say, “Where, Lord?! I can’t find it!” I was looking for this book for five years and I was sure that it was gone, but You said, “No, it's here.” I continued to say, “Where? Where, Lord?”
One day, we decided to clean out the attic to make some room and we put all the boxes in the living room. We left the boxes and decided to go through them the next day. That night, You woke me up at 2am and I went into the room where the boxes were and began to look at them all. I had a feeling that You were saying to me, “The book is over there in that box.” I didn't believe You, but I went over to see, anyway. I opened the box and wow! I praise You, Lord -- the book was there! I started to cry and said, “Lord, You do have a plan. It's all in Your perfect timing.”
I woke up my husband first and then the rest of the family to show them what I had found. I told them, “The Lord knew where it was all along. It was lost and now it's found for His honor and glory.” Right away, You laid it upon my heart why You allowed the book to be lost. It was because You wanted me to write new ones and show people what You had done for me during the years it was lost. You wanted me to document and share the changes I have in You today for Your honor and glory. I will continue moving forward, doing Your will by encouraging others to come to You. I will be courageous and will cast my burdens upon You every day for Your honor and glory. I will hear and answer.
I dedicate everything about this book to You. You have appointed a season for it to be finished and published. I place this book in Your hands, “Your Servant Forever,” and I trust, have confidence in, and rely on Your loving-kindness, mercy, and love to go into every heart You want it to. You are my Lord Jesus Christ, God Almighty and You will make a way. You have chosen me to write this book and I worship and honor You for the privilege. Your servant and child forever, Carol.
