FOREWORD
Donna Blazek was the first person to edit this book. Donna worked on this book after it had been hand written and completed her editing before it got lost for five years. Donna also attended Carol's Bible study for women for ten years. Carol adopted Donna, in her heart, as a daughter.

Carol, I believe it is very important that you sit down and write about your entire life as you remember it and about your life now. I believe that you have the ability to write an encouraging and glorified book of the Lord about your life. You are a very special person. You have had some rough times and some good times but, most of all, you have the biggest heart and God knows this. I know you have the love to take care of everyone from babies all the way up to the elderly. You need to really think about your life before your walk with our Lord and how things are different now. Write about how things were when you were a child. You grew up with eleven siblings, my goodness! You could write several novels about your life and the lives of your siblings.
Jesus has impacted your personal life and has allowed you, at an older age, to adopt and raise a darling baby girl named Karina and a baby boy named Joshua. You and your entire family have given to people in need. I believe that you could go to so many places beyond the imagination based on the true facts of your life. In my opinion, that's just the way things are. Write about your opinions and how the world has affected your life and the life of others. You can make a difference. You are also the one who holds the key to releasing the old and bringing in the new love, strength, happiness, life, and the One who has already succeeded; Christ our Lord. Your close friend, Donna Blazeick
Gerry Jones is Carol's longtime friend. Gerry and Carol spent 15 years hosting Bible studies at their church for women who were married to alcoholics and drug addicts. In 2014, Gerry was the second person to edit the book. Gerry now lives in Wyoming and hosts women’s Bible studies to this day.

My friend who has put many hours and heartfelt messages into this book—who has poured out her heart to others so they can understand that, even though we may face seemingly insurmountable problems in our lives, our Lord Jesus Christ holds us in His loving arms and can sustain us through all things, God has held you up and encouraged you through these writings so others may see what a great Savior we have in Him. Whatever we may be going through, we can be assured that we are never alone.
I pray that you will always remember the great things God has for you and that He loves and walks with you as well. There's no need for despair, because God will always comfort and care for you. This book is a testimony of how our Father God, His Son Jesus, and His Holy Spirit have upheld this beautiful woman and how He will do the same for everyone else who gives their heart to Him. Your loving friend, Gerry Jones.
Becky Summers received the book for editing from Gerry Jones during the same year. Becky is a pastor's wife and checked for proper Scripture use and corrections. Although Becky and Carol have never met and have only spoke on the phone a few times, Carol believes that Becky got to know her through these writings. From this, Carol learned that a person's personal writings can tell who that person is, how she feels, and what she believes.

God brought Carol into my life over twenty years ago and she has been brightening my life so very much ever since. She is so understanding and forgiving. There's not a selfish bone in her body. I pray that others will see all that Jesus has done for those who believe through Carol's dedicated efforts.
I pray that others will see and feel God's unconditional love through this book. Carol is one of the most caring, loving people that God has placed in my life, and I am eternally grateful for her. Carol has talked about this book for a long time and I've been so happy to see all the people whom God has sent to her, over the years, to help fulfill this dream. I pray that others will get to know Carol, that they would be encouraged in the Lord, and that their lives would be enriched through these writings.
Carol is so loving and caring and I do love her dearly. I have been blessed in knowing and growing with her. May God continue to bless her and her family and all those who read through these pages. With love, Theresa Barela.
Isaiah Fransua was the book's fourth and final editor. Isaiah is the proud Founder, Creative Director & Designer @HerdShirts (www.herdshirts.org). Isaiah is also the author of The Harvest: God's Glory Revealed. When he first received Carol's writings, Isaiah received nothing but a collection of prayers. Carol notified him that she hadn't been able to come up with a concept or title for years. After reading through the prayers, God instantly gave Isaiah a name, Your Servant Forever, and the two knew that it truly was of Him—it just made sense.
Carol knew that the Lord wanted her to write more about what He had done for her since she first began writing Him and how He had truly answered her throughout the years. Carol then began writing new prayers and Isaiah edited those as well. After much collaborating, planning, and divine inspiration, the two were able to solidify a concept and work the old and new writings into a real piece of literature.

From the very beginning, God had His hand in bringing Carol and I together. I was in search of an apartment and Carol, as usual, was in search of many things. She needed an editor to help polish her writings and complete her long held dream of becoming an author. I just so happened to have recently become an author myself and I was honored and privileged to help a sister in Christ do the same.
Neither of us could have imagined all that the Lord had planned by bringing us together, but we both knew that this was one of His appointed times. I was interested in a space that Carol was renting and after arranging a meeting, we instantly hit it off. We'd go on and on, back and forth, like long lost siblings sharing all the things that the Lord had taught and shown us. Carol and I would go on to spend the subsequent seven months hard at work crafting and perfecting the very book you're about to read.
Carol and I, and millions of other Christians who have chosen to take God at His Word, are living testimonies that He truly is whom He says He is, that He is a faithful God, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. After many, joyful and Holy Spirit inspired hours of hard work, learning, and laughter, I am proud to present Your Servant Forever, by Carol Spiewak. May this book touch a multitude of hearts with the everlasting love of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Ted Spiewak was the head pastor at City Church of Denver for fourteen years. Pastor Ted is the father of five stepchildren, three adopted children, and he has twelve grandchildren. Ted is a wonderful and dedicated father, grandfather, and husband. Ted is very selfless and compassionate and would do anything for his family. After retiring, Pastor Ted and Carol took on the responsibility of running a food bank out of their home which feeds three churches, one Christian school, and countless others in need. Ted stood by Carol for all of her Bible studies and was happy to help wherever he could. Pastor Ted also ran his own Bible study for men, “The Lost Sheep for Christ,” for ten years.

About nineteen years ago, when I first met my wife, she was telling me about writing the Lord every day. She would tell Him about everything that was going on in her life—her trials, tribulations, happiness, blessings, and anything else that she could talk to the Lord about. She told me that one of her dreams was to publish a book that would share her testimony of what God has done in her life in hopes that she would help others that may be going through the same things she went through. Carol's book is a witness and testimony of what God can do in your life if you keep the faith and lean on Him.
Carol was preparing to put her writings into book form when suddenly they became lost. We looked and looked for nearly five years and could not find them. As God would have it, in His perfect timing, we would eventually find Her writings. We needed to look for some documents and a bunch of our paperwork was in the attic. As we were looking for these documents, lo and behold, there were Carol's writings!
God has blessed us in many ways and, as previously stated, anything that's worth having is all in His perfect timing—not ours. I believe this book will bless many people for the honor and glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask for Your prayers as Carol continues on her journey as an author. Please pray that everything she does would bring glory to God. The Lord has also laid it upon her heart to publish many other books with other writings that she has written in the past.
Please pray for God's help and guidance over Carol as she continues on her journey with Him, that everything she says and does would honor Him. I see how, after many years of faithfulness, Carol's dream of becoming an author is coming to pass. Carol has been faithful to God, has leaned on Him, has trusted in His understanding, and has reaped the rewards. In His service, Pastor Ted Spiewak, servant, husband, father and grandfather.

My journey in the U.S. started in the winter of 2008. I landed in Denver, CO and I took my first steps into Ted and Carol’s home on the cold evening of January 16. I moved here from Turkmenistan when I was only sixteen years old, without a single family member, only to learn that God had a whole new family ready for me to be a part of.
My biological mother had a friend who knew Ted and Carol, and she arranged for me to stay with them at no cost and with no special details of how long I would be staying. Within the first month, I grew to call Carol, “Mom” and Ted, “Dad.” While I am the only child in my original family, but Ted and Carol have two other adopted children, who became my brother and sister. I am now blessed to have a sister, a little brother, and five older brothers to call my own.
I lived with them for about two years and then, at eighteen, I was off to college. As of today, it has been about ten years since I moved here and since I became a part of this beautiful family. Its takes a different kind of person to take children in and care for them, as her own, with utterly genuine love. My Mother Carol has showed me unconditional love and support all throughout the years. My Mother Carol brought me to Jesus and helped me open my mind and heart up to God Almighty.
I am perpetually grateful for this gift, among many other precious gifts which Mom and Dad gave me. As time goes by and as I am on a constant quest concerning my career and future, I don’t always get to spend as much time as I would like to with my American family, but I know that they are here for me, no matter what. God has blessed me with these beautiful people in my life. Without them, I would not be the person I am today.
Karina is the baby girl of six boys and is one of three adopted children. Karina plays volleyball, basketball, the trumpet, the piano, and she likes watching all types of sports. Karina sings beautifully and she has won many awards for her voice. Karina goes to Beth Eden Christian School.

My amazing parents adopted me when I was only six months old, which I am happy about because I wouldn’t be loved as much somewhere else as I am here. I’m so glad that my mom found her book. It was really hard on her when she couldn’t find it. I’m glad she has finally finished writing her book. She loves almost everything about it. I thank God for my strong and determined mother who loves Him so much.
Joshua Spiewak is the youngest of Carol's eight children. Joshua is one of three adopted children. Joshua plays soccer and basketball, enjoys building LEGO cities, and likes to watch the Denver Broncos play football. Joshua has taken singing and piano lessons for the past four years and also attends Beth Eden Christian School.

My beautiful mother adopted me when I was only two days old and I will be forever grateful for that. I still love my biological parents and I'm very thankful that they chose Ted and Carol to care of me. I love Ted and Carol both very much and they do their best at being good parents. I've known and heard about this book for the past six years or so, and up until just recently the writing process had been put on hold. It's wasn't until the past two years or so that I've seen Mom really start working hard on the book again. I'm glad to see that it's finally getting finished. Now, I can read it. I pray that the completion of this book will be a relief and inspiration, not only to our family but to everyone who reads it. I thank the Lord for giving me such a loving, generous, and hard working mother.

We believe God will bless many others with this book. Thank You, Lord, for creating our mom. We are all born-again believers who love and honor You, Jesus. We will continue to serve You. Mom has always been there for us. She is our special and beautiful mom. God bless her forever.
